Turtleback Mountain Golf & Resort

This course has challenge, variety, wildlife, kept bunkers and well kept greens. Truly a hidden gem and the only golf course in Southern NM that doesn't break the bank or act snooty to go along with it's incredibly entertaining course and down to earth staff.

Great greens. They run true. Challenging, can't just grip and rip. Must use course management to score good

Good time of year to play. the weather was nice and the staff was awesome!

Booked a Hot Time on Golf Now. We had the course to ourselves. The area is dry and the course was in great need of water. But, fairways were pretty good shape. Greens were a little sandy and bumpy, but, overall good shape!

Well organized, knowledge of course play and etiquette

Course was in great shape for early spring. Nice challenging layout. Some elevated tee boxes. Fun course at a great price.

Don't leave your range finder in their carts. If you cannot specifically identify it, the pro shop will not return it to you. Whoever maintains the course does a great job; it's fun to play. The pro shop staff, not so much.

Fairway were a little spotting but just coming out of winter. Greens were just aireated so little bumpy.

Weather was outrageous, but it’s such a neat course, made up for the unpredictable NM weather. For this time of year the course was adequately maintained, some rough spots. Overall enjoyed the round. Lunch was great too.
