Outstanding
Course was in great shape. Greens were perfect. Enjoyable day. Played Sunday on a warm day and played in under 4 hours. 16th hole view of the Sound is worth it. Bunkers could use some TLC.
islands end golf course
love this course
no complaints at all
worth the drive!!
Love it
Had a great time here. Definitely coming back again. Fairways were in great shape and the greens rolled fast. The only complaint I have was some of the tee boxes were pretty hammered but not the end of the world.
Islands End
Greens were outstanding. Fairways also excellent.
Rough burnt out very dry. Pace of play on front nine was awful, almost 2 1/2 hours to play 9 holes, no ranger in site.
Nice time nice course
I really like this course. I play with my girlfriend and we enjoy playing here. Great practice facility. The pro is a great guy.
Nice track w a great view of the sound
Loved It
Snagged a last minute 2 spot on GolfNow and played with my son. Traffic was horrendous on the Sound (pumpkin picking season) but we pulled up and the proshop sent us right out on our own. Course was in terrific condition for Oct. Forgot how fast the greens were compared to the usual spots out east. A goup of 4 playing ahead was kind enough to let us play through. Holes by the water are as nice as any holes on the North Fork. Cut through it in less than 4 hrs midday on a Saturday. Decent hot dog at the turn too lol. Cant really ask for more.
The end north shore
Classic East end windy condition calling for shot making I played w my girlfriend and two blokes from Australia or something they talk funny but they were good guys have good games It was all good till we bugged out at 17 after nice par from the tips on 16 the sound view par three The rain was cold so I felt it was a good time to seek shelter & dry off and warm up
Good time I’d do it again ( and Wii)
Soon
Cheers

Played Island's End today for the first time and was glad I did. I got there super early because I did not know what traffic would be like coming from Riverhead. The starter got me right out and was super friendly. The course has an interesting layout as it has five par 3s and five par 5s. Hit the ball in the right area and many of these par 5's are reachable in two. The course is still short from the tips, but where it makes up for it is the par 3s are decently long. All but one were playing 180+ today. My favorite hole is the par 3 16th which played 205 downhill with a view of the sound on your right. The course was in great shape even though the greens had recently been punched. They were still soft and rolled true. I'd like to see the price of $70 come down to be honest and to add on, the golf carts were kinda dingy and the floors were falling apart. That, however, is just a minor part. Overall great and fun course.
