Beekman Country Club - Highland/Valley
About
Beekman Country Club has a stunning location nestled in the foothills of the Berkshires, just as they are rising from the Hudson Valley. The 27-hole hole golf course is divided into three nines that are combined to create three scenic and challenging 18-hole courses. The Highland/Valley combination begins at the clubhouse and gradually climbs over 500 feet. The front nine offers panoramic views stretching from the valley to Stormville Mountain. The Highland nine features the signature hole, the par-3 fourth, of the entire course. It is most beautiful in the springtime when the dogwood trees lining the fairways are in bloom. Although the elevation changes are not as dramatic, the Valley nine is not to be forgotten with one of the country's largest oak trees guarding the sixth hole.

Solid course with nice views
I liked the course because you use the driver often and the greens were in good shape. The sand traps are not always so great. Overall the condition of the course along with the views make this a good deal under $50
Sunset Golf
Beekman is always a favorite place of mine to play. If you go late in the afternoons you can always catch a beautiful sunset regardless of which of the three 9s you are playing.
Not as I remembered it!
I was looking forward to my afternoon round as I’ve always liked the layout at Beekman .Unfortunately, due to the tropical storm earlier in the week, there were many trees down and we lost many balls just off the fairway that got caught up in the fallen trees. The greens were extremely choppy and poorly managed. The tee boxes also left a lot to be desired. I won’t be heading up to Beekman anytime soon.
Great Condition
The course was in great condition despite the lack of rain this Summer. Played all three 9s. Great.
A nice course
Course was good not great, tee boxes were chewed up on a lot of them. The course layout is a little odd with it being 3 separate 9 hole courses. Pace of play was decent about 4 and half hours on a Sunday. The guy inside was rude when asked about separate carts, yet we had a 4 some behind us with their own cart each.
Very nice course, we’ll maintained, very busy for a Tuesday, played like a weekend, waited on every hole, times have changed with thr virus
Decent course...
Course could use some tlc. Tee boxes are in terrible shape. Maybe they should move around the tees on the boxes more often. Some greens in ok shape; others need to repaired. Fairways were decent, but roughs are growing wild.
Tee boxes were badly kept
Greens were very slow
Lax about masks - didn’t like that
Otherwise not bad
Resorts World Catskills Stay & Play Package
We have played this golf course regularly over the years without complaint. Today we decided to check out this years menu at the restaurant. It did not disappoint. Many places have very limited menus because of the Covid. Their menu was a full one and not only tasty, but generous. To top it off, the service was top shelf with our server Allie doing a wonderful job of making sure all our needs were met. Check it out, you can't go wrong.
