McCann Memorial Golf Course

Doesn't get better than McCann. Always in good shape. Always a decent challenge. Have to find the fairways. Pace of play is great - you can get out there on a Saturday at 3 and be done by 6:30. You can't get better value than this course.

love this course the people are amazing that run it and its a fun course. Make sure to stop in and get a burger in the turn

I was in the area on business and looking for somewhere good to play that was a decent course without being a stupid price.

What a pleasant day out - nice course in good condition for early in the year, very good value and friendly staff. Very companionable playing partner too.

I hired clubs which were not expensive - but a bit of a mash-up of different brands and types none of which were this year's model. Or last year's...etc....

Should maybe have asked for better.

Lots of trees to hit and a great variety of holes - reasonably forgiving at the same time.

McCann has been in outstanding condition for years. This course is like a quality country club condition-wise. Speed of play has been around 4:30 this year. The highest rate is $42 on weekends, which is only for out of county! Carts for two are $32 and not required. Friendly staff.

I haven't played McCann for about 10 years. When my buddy asked me to play about a month ago. I always remembered the course being OK, but nothing to write home about.

When I went to play, I was pleasantly surprised. The greens are in phenomenal shape. No joke, you're not going to find better greens at any course priced comparably to McCann. Overall course conditions are great. Since then, we've played every weekend. We still play other courses, but this has turned into a regular round for us for the amazing conditions and reasonable price.

If you're contemplating playing here vs. Beekman or Casperkill...I'd definitely go McCann for a better deal and way better greens.

This course I was recommended while playing a course in northern Westchester. It has a very nice layout and the course condition was good. For a Friday and very nice weather, the pace of play was excellent. I will probably play this course a couple of more times this year.

Course was great on a monday, fairways were clear of leaves and the greens were in great shape. This course just seems to get better every time I play it.

Course needs constant maintenance this time of year to keep leaves off greens.

Tough time finding balls in rough and leaves were strewn all over greens.

The staff here is super accommodating. I had someone schedule to golf with me and they canceled at the last minute. The woman at the check-in booth was completely understanding and worked it out for me so that I could play with the other two in our foursome. I didn't get her name but she is the best. The course was in great condition and well marked. We didn't stay after to eat but I hear the hamburgers are delicious and a great value. Thank you McCanns !

I live nearby & never heard of McCann. If it wasn't for GolfNow, I never would have even considered playing here.

The staff were very friendly.

The chicken salad on the turn was excellent.

The course was very dry but it gave nice rolls after solid tee shots.

For big hitters there are a few drivable par 4's.

I will return.

This is a very nice find. Course is not overly difficult, but interesting. Well maintained, and very fairly priced. I will play there again for sure.

The conditions are really great for a public course. Top notch. Can get slow at times
