Blue Heron Golf Club

Blue Heron is a solid golf course, with an interesting and challenging layout. After being there on Saturday, I am a little bit concerned about their future. The fairways and greens were mostly in good shape, and in-line with their current price point. The bunkers were low on sand and very compacted, maybe somewhat due to recent rain. The cart paths were in really bad shape, and should be fixed up if they want to keep charging $65.00 per round. The course also got a decent amount of rain the night before, and the fairways were starting get beat up, due to there being no restrictions on location you could drive. If they want to charge similar prices to Greystone, Deerfield and Ravenwood, some changes may need to occur.

We golfed in the mid-afternoon and the course never put the tees out on the tee box. Every hole we had to guess where the blue tees might be. Greens had small chunks of dirt all over them as well. Otherwise, the course was maintained nicely.

Wet from previous days of rain but course in great condition. All staff extremely friendly.

Enjoyed a beautiful fall golf day. Layout is great. Greens had been aerated and now filling in. Friendly people as staff and members. Will come again next year

Enjoyed the course. it is tight and challenging. The pro shop needs help. Young kids running it. Do not rent clubs. i rented clubs and they were a bunch of different clubs they found on the course and very poor shape. The greens were aerated at time of play but still nice.

Course was in great shape. We got right out at 7 AM. I'll be back.

Usually i would give Blue Heron 5 stars but today the pace of play was dreadfully slow. 4 hrs and 40 minutes. In addition many of the fairways were just aerated . I know that is usual this time of year and i assume that is why the fairways are usually in pristine conditions. Greens were in great shape. I hope to get back again when conditions are better.

Course is in excellent shape. Not easy, but enjoyable.

Tough scene out there. Waiting forever between shots, then by the time you are ready to hit, feeling pressures by the group behind. Nice course and good conditions, but ouch for pace of play.

Course is in great shape: tees to green. Staff has arranged sign in safely but still friendly and accommodating to golfers. Nice to play there with a cart. It was very hot today but pace was quick. Done in three hours!! Greens were rolling nicely.

Course was in great shape greens were nice. A little wet in spots.

By far one of the better layouts in the Rochester area.

Conditions were very good considering the rain we had received.

Great course,great conditions. Tough,but fair. A joy to play. Highly recommended
