Hot Deal worth it!
Course was not in as good as condition as the prior times I had played it. Since there was an outing, staff informed my foursome to start on hole 10 which was very nice of them. Only problem is that when we came around to hole 1 others were teeing off before us tremendously slowing us down.
What happened here???
Played this course many times. Used to love it. Something is terribly wrong now. The entire course is completely burnt out with massive patches of straight up dirt/mud. Especially the fringes! Fairways are toast. Even the rough was very patchy and brown. Dirt everywhere. Even the NYC muni courses are in far better shape. Saw a lot of seed and hoses...maybe there's an irrigation problem?? But I brought two friends who'd never played here before and talked it up for 2 weeks. Was very disappointed and embarrassed. Someone help this place!
Good challenge for the average golfer
Have not played here since last year. Only disappointing aspect of the course was the fairways. Lots of bare areas, brown grass and deadpan. Never have seen this here before. Usually very lush. Aside from this, the staff and rest of the course are just fine. They have also improved a lot of "sore" spots throughout the course.

big greens
some of the fairways are in poor shape but the greens were good a little slow due to some rain friendly staff

Nice Course for early golf
Nice course in good condition and starts nice and early. Love the early start times. Pace of play was good and value was great. I would definitely go back

Poor conditions and weird layout
Greens in bad shape , no driving range , not worth $80+

Swan Lake
Booked a hot tee time via golfnow and it poured rain all day up until about an hour before our tee time. Called pro shop and explained dilemma and he was very helpful and offered rain check if we drove out and all of a sudden it began to pour again. Was very surprised how well the course was maintained even after heavy rain that day and all night prior. All the snacks/drinks you need at the turn and a fun day overall.

great day
course was in excellent condition; soft from previous weeks rain but not muddy; greens were true and rough was trimmed to facilitate pace; started at 12;15 and was finished by 4;30; can't wait to play this course again
