Needs work
New owners are great, but golf course needs some work. Greens need alot of work you can't putt at all. Love to play at Scott's but no coming back until they do so course work. And you raise the price not good..
It's not a "club course"
Look, it's a small 9nhole course. It's not a country club. There's some reviews here bashing it. If you want a Jack Nicholas inspired course, where you drink highballs and talk to Chadwick about foie gras look elsewhere. If you want a place to have a good time with wide open fairways, some long drives, and flat greens, with a leisurely pace. This is the place to go. I took my daughter here (she's 8) and the staff was super friendly and helpful. They do not do junior rates, but I don't care about the money. She had a good time. It's all about establishing a great relationship with golf for the rest of her life. And courses like this allow us to do that.
NY REQUIRES 1 CART FOR 1 GOLFER IN ORDER TO ENSURE SOCIAL DISTANCING!
My 80 year old father and I show up on a Thursday evening. Sign says $25 for 9 holes with a cart. 75 year old guy claiming to be the owner, tells my dad that we need to pay $5 each extra to use 2 carts instead of just one for both of us. We explain how it is for social distancing and that we came in seperate cars and live in seperate households so we need seperate carts as per the state regulations for golf courses. Owner proceeds to lower his mask exposing his nose while only about 4 feet from us and says that this is how all the courses in the state are now doing things. I've included a link to the nys golf association page that cites the new state regulations right on the home page. Follow the link and see for yourself...and then go golfing elsewhere. Forget this course owner who thinks he can price gouge because the state has put regulations in place. He should change the posted price if he isn't making enough money, not change it based on how many carts we need. (Just a side note- I had golfed here 5 weeks in a row by myself in a cart just before this happened, and each time I paid only $25.00)

Disappointed
Right off the bat I was disappointed because the clerk said they don’t accept Golf Now.com. After a litney of excuses why I was out the $14 I Gabe GolfNow.com but another $40. So $54 for a 9 hole “golf course”
I hadn’t played there since 1986 and it was like I stepped back in time. Nothing at all changed except the condition of the course. Poor is an understatement.
Confidence Builder
I love this course particularly after a few bad rounds on more difficult courses. Fairways are wide and hard so a 200 yard drive can easily become 250. While it is roughly maintained, the greens are good with very few tough reads.
The family that operates it couldn't be friendlier. No traps, only #8/17 has water. I'm an upper 80s golfer but often break 80 on this course. Enjoy!
Great for driver practice.
Scott's course is not pretty but wide and long. Go here to get driver practice. Like to walk it. It's really only 9 holes, but you play it twice.
