Wet but playable
With the downpour we received from Hurricane Henri and Ida I was shocked in the conditions. Staff was very nice and having the beverage cart riding around was a pleasant surprise
A little wet, so sand bunkers were packed but otherwise a very fair test of golf.
Yesterday the course was a little rough. Usually in good condition tho. But ime of my top five in the areas. Prices are reasonable
Other than the par 3s, I think there are only three holes that are not doglegs. A few require that you don't use your driver. Interesting layout though, and course is in very good condition. Very large greens on many holes.
I'd give it a higher rating if the pace of place wasn't so abysmal. Otherwise, it's a nice course, with a nice staff.
A Mixed Bag
Green are beautiful with lots of undulations but are running a bit slow. The tee to green layout is unusual. First time players have no idea where to aim or what carries are etc. on several holes. It also allows for a variety of ways to play the holes, but again you need to know the course to truly enjoy it
I enjoy playing this course however the greens were super slow They needed to be cut and rolled
