About
The Golf Club at Middle Bay is located on Long Island's south shore overlooking the barrier islands of Jones Beach, Point Lookout, and Lido Beach. Nearly every hole looks out across water. Though the golf course is just an hour outside of New York City, you'll feel as though you've been whisked off to an out-of-town resort. The layout has a challenging design that will test your accuracy with tree-lined fairways and strategically placed bunkers. Wind will also be a factor on this golf course. The Golf Club at Middle Bay is a tough but fair layout that players of all skill levels will enjoy. In addition to the golf course, there is also a driving range available.

Getting better
The greens are in much better space than two weeks ago. No putt breaks as much as you think!

Seems like they aerated the course about 3 weeks ago so some greens were bumpy others barely can tell… we played twilight so 30 with a cart is a great deal and we finished all 18… there’s one hole right of driving range where if you drive it left towards it could be dangerous so be careful

The view.
Green little slow and bumpy. Should be good in a week or 2. 3 groups In front was slow! We started at 9:00 n a 4:45 rounds. Staff Kyle is the best! Rest have no complaints.

Booooo
Called on phone and asked about restrictions and greens and they said no restrictions and haven’t aerated yet when it was actually cart path only and the greens were recently aerated and sanded. We obviously didn’t find this out until it was already too late.

Aerated Greens and Long Round
Would have been nice if Golfnow let us know the greens were just aerated 3 days ago. I know it’s Spring and most of the courses were or are being aerated but I could have found a course that hasn’t been aerated yet or was done more than 10 days ago.
Besides the aerated greens, my lord the 2-3 groups in front of us were so sloooooow. They had a whole hole open and rangers were not doing anything about it. Waited after every shot!!!

Great play while recovering from aeration
The course is currently under recovery from aeration in late Fall season. with the aeration recovery putting was not overly challenging beyond the norm, the green undulation already makes it difficult, lol. the course has bay side greens and fairways that add to the difficulty of playing it, long par 4's, doglegs, bunkers, water hazards and long par 5's with trees, but I would play this course twice a week if possible and I didn't mention 135 slope.
