About
The Golf Club at Middle Bay is located on Long Island's south shore overlooking the barrier islands of Jones Beach, Point Lookout, and Lido Beach. Nearly every hole looks out across water. Though the golf course is just an hour outside of New York City, you'll feel as though you've been whisked off to an out-of-town resort. The layout has a challenging design that will test your accuracy with tree-lined fairways and strategically placed bunkers. Wind will also be a factor on this golf course. The Golf Club at Middle Bay is a tough but fair layout that players of all skill levels will enjoy. In addition to the golf course, there is also a driving range available.

Great course
Great course and layout- lots of challenges especially with the wind and fast greens. Friendly staff as and golfers too. Only thing I didn’t get was an additional fee when paying for the round in person on top of the fee to book on golf now- - wasn’t what was indicated as “due at course”’by the app, and. Or my experience in last years. Also can never use $10 monthly tee time credits here….just credits for booking fee which is a bummer.
Outstanding conditions
Fairways are perfect, greens a running putting on glass
Pin placement is challenging
Bunkers are well kept
Excellent round of golf

Every hole is unique.
Often a ton of wind on the holes near the water. If you don’t like wind stay away. Otherwise exciting course to play.

Course was in pristine condition. Pace of play was quick and the staff was very friendly.

Value & Challenge
Despite temporary trailer clubhouse/snack shack. Good challenging course with fast true greens, water hazards & wind. Pace of play a bit of a pain! Can’t wait until clubhouse construction is complete, I will frequent f this course

Challenging
Touch course for average golfer, lots of sand near the greens. Hole placement made putting impossible. Course was in great shape.

Wonderful day for golf
The Golf Club at Middle Bay overall was a great day for golf. The Club is underway restoring the course and club house. A few of the fairways were wet due to recent weather conditions. The greens were fast & furious, the undulation didn't help lol, the staff was friendly, parking easy.

Amazing
Greens are spectacular
rolling at least 12-13 range - making a ton of improvements
But with greens like that there is nothing improve
