About
The Golf Club at Middle Bay is located on Long Island's south shore overlooking the barrier islands of Jones Beach, Point Lookout, and Lido Beach. Nearly every hole looks out across water. Though the golf course is just an hour outside of New York City, you'll feel as though you've been whisked off to an out-of-town resort. The layout has a challenging design that will test your accuracy with tree-lined fairways and strategically placed bunkers. Wind will also be a factor on this golf course. The Golf Club at Middle Bay is a tough but fair layout that players of all skill levels will enjoy. In addition to the golf course, there is also a driving range available.

Great tract
Great weather although pretty windy which makes course more challenging. The round was excellent. Finished 18 under 4 hours
Beautiful Course but Course Ranger ruined it
Beautiful course, well maintained, no clubhouse but there’s still a pro shop and concession stand. Course Ranger pretty much ruined what should’ve been a great experience. We were a party of 4 and had no one waiting behind us yet he constantly had to keep telling us we’re behind pace and need to pick it up. We weren’t drinking, we weren’t horsing around, we were at most 9 minutes behind pace according to the golf cart GPS. We weren’t holding anyone up and had a party in front of us, and still, at least 4 times felt the need to interrupt us to tell us to speed it up. Unnecessary and very annoying, pretty much ruined the experience. .
Always a Country Club experience.
It is a privilege to play at a public that prior to 2012's Hurricane Sandy was a private course. They still run it like a private course.

It just isn’t the best for drainage. Greens were excellent fairways above average.

Vets and first responders
My only gripe is this offer isn’t all the time discounted for veterans and police and firefighters. A few years back you did have the discount. I.wish the course could drain quicker after the rain.

Course in good condition. Plays fair but the elements dictate EVERYTHING. Definitely birds to be shot if the wind relaxes. Fun overall
