Got to coarse advised coarse was closed 2nd time this has happened. Should have been notified of closure by staff.
Where's the maintenance crew?
Rolling Oaks, I've played this course near 100 times. It is what it is - a good short game tune up with a challenge here or there. With that said I'd normally have rated this 4 or 5 stars, but the conditions were really poor. I get it, it's November but it looked like the maintenance crew hasn't been around for weeks. VERY leafy - don't expect to be able to find your ball if you're not on a fairway, instead it will be in a massive pile of leaves that line each side of each fairway. I know it's fall, but I've played several other course in the last few weeks that have done much better with leaf clean up. Also, most tee boxes were torn apart and the greens seemed like the were aerated within the last week, which probably isn't accurate but more likely the lack of proper maintenance. Where's the crew? They're very bumpy. Anyway, I do like this place for what it is, just temper your expectations if you're going there anytime soon.

Good time
A chilly am got us out an hour early.
Short course with narrow fairways.
Course had a lot of leaves in the rough.
Greens are aerated.
Foursome in from of us was slow but round was reasonable 4.5 hours.
Taking Advantage of the Situation
Normally it is a very nice track at a reasonable price. However, the course is really unplayable. No mention of recent aeration which made the greens impossible.
More of a problem were the leaves, No attempt to remove or contain the leaves

All basically fine. Too, too many leaves on the course, not being picked up but blown around. Lost balls where typically they’d be visible

Leaves everywhere greens covered with leaves. They aerated and didn't announce it on line.

A mess
All tee off boxes at same location fairways on most holes cleared of leaves but the roof was full of leaves and branches impossible to find balls if hit there greens Aerated full of sand bad time to play this course

Bad greens
Greens are under regrowth stage, leaves are not blown far enough off the fairways too easy to lose your ball

When I booked through the app I was not informed that only the front nine was open and the greens were being aerated. Every green was full of sand. I wouldn’t have paid $15 to play never mind the $30 I ended up paying.

Enjoying course
Never feel rushed to play, friendly staff. Greens are tough during the fall with all the falling leaves.

Course is challenging only down side was waiting for carts.

Cart wait
Had to wait for carts not enough to go around. Slow play due to tt at 10 minute Intervals a few holes pin placement ridiculous 3 to 4 putts from 3feet away

Needs TLC
Overall not bad for $45 but the course is very short and the groundskeepers are not very motivated. Tee boxes are poor. Still better than working, staff is very friendly

Ok
Went there last Saturday. Course is in great condition. The problem with the layout is the fairways are narrow and very close together so there are constantly balls getting hit into the fairway you are playing. Probably because it was a weekend and there were lots of inexperienced players. Lots Of back to back par 3’s. Enjoyed playing maybe will go back during the week. Price was $40 w cart - awesome! JRs steakhouse right in front great place for after golf meal. They were quick to serve and food was awesome!

Rolling Oaks
I was cautious due to several negative reviews that I read. I found none of the complaints during my round. Rolling Oaks is a short course that allows you practice on your short game. Several times I played from a neighboring fairway but as I said, it was a good time to straighten out my short game. The staff was friendly. The carts available and considering a beautiful Indian Summer Saturday the pace of play was not bad at all.
