Classic Ross Course that Appears Unaltered
One of the best and as close to the original Ross courses I have played. Course has 18 of the most undulating and unique Ross greens that I have played. Teugaga effortless flows over the hilly terrain and one feels like Ross found the 18 best green sites possible. They are close to finishing a restoration of the course that focused on tree removal, restoring all grasses over bunkers, and recapturing list green area.
If you get the opportunity get there ASAP.
A classic golf course frozen in time
This classic Donald Ross designed private course is located at the foothills of the Adirondacks and the shores of Lake Delta in Rome NY. The course has not significantly changed from the original 1921 design making it a golf time capsule. Unlike the majority of Ross courses built over the years, Ross personally supervised the construction of this layout.
Rolling terrains with relatively small greens makes this a a real classic golf experience. No two holes are alike in this tree lined course. Jump at a chance to play this beautiful course frozen in time
