Hidden Valley Golf Club

Been a number of years since I last played. Was pretty excited to come back. Unfortunately it is not the same course it once was. Greens are pretty good but they course is so bad apparently people don't feel the need to fix pitch marks. Tee boxes are awful too.

I will say the staff were polite and professional. The course layout is challenging. If only the owners would make the investment to fix the fairways and tee boxes, this course could be a higher rated course in the region. It is sad when you walk up to a tee box and there is no grass anywhere. I will say that they do keep the greens pure, just need players to fix the ball marks. I fixed three on each green. They have a driving range and a small bucket of balls was only $5. They also could use some better signage to help first time visitors. I will give this course another chance when I return to the region next year.

This is a nice course with a challenging layout for the average golfer, but it could be better maintained. It is no fun playing with others wearing muscle shorts and smoking big cigars who are loud on the course.

This course is in a remote location and the course needs improvement s. The cart paths only cover the length of the t-box and the most frustrating issue of all is the gas powered golf carts that maybe go 2 miles an hour. So clumsy. Just not much fun.

Fairways were very hard, but we also haven't had much rain, tee boxes full of old tees, but that's on the players not the staff, would love to see bunkers in better condition, overall was pretty good with some room for improvement.

This was certainly the most terrible course I've ever booked in over 10 years with Golf Pass! The cart paths were broken cement/tar/mudholes. Fairways were awful tee boxes were dirt holes; bunkers were mud/pebble pits, etc. The golf shop mgr. offered me a 3 yr. membership for $159 and $20 each time for a cart. I only played 9 holes and left because the course condition's and the aged carts were causing me body/joint soreness. They couldn't pay me enough to ever play here again. Golf Pass should have a rep re-review this course.

Easy to get to and not a bad layout. Very, very wet. Tee boxes were In terrible condition. Fairways were not able to be mowed because of wet conditions. Unable to post a score for GHIN as well.

Well, kept course in very good condition. Fairways were a little rough, but overall we were pleased. Pace of play was very good. And good value for the money.

It's a hidden gem.. carts are in good shape course is amazing .. very scenic and has a nice driving range..

I’ve played this course several times. It is usually in good shape, can be wet at times. Seem friendly staff is some of the same people. $31 for 18 holes with a cart is a great value

It is great to play a course like this. Everyhole has a very distinct methodology to attacking! Greens were in great condition. Friendly and expedient staff (Just saw one guy in clubhouse).

Can' t beat the quality and green fees!

Each hole is unique. Great layout- chalenging in some spots. Greens roll true..

I must start this review with the personal aspect of our round at Hidden Valley. I spoke with A.J. the day before, explained that one of our friends had surgery on his foot and was unable to play, is it possible for him to join us, we'll pay the cart fee. He said "we're family friendly, come on down".

A.J. said he wouldn't be there, so I explained our situation to the gentleman checking us in and he handed me two keys, no fee for the extra cart. This kindness is something the three of us greatly appreciated!

Hidden Valley is what I call a blue collar course, very nice layout, fairly wide open and in real nice condition. The greens rolled beautifly. We thoroughly enjoyed the course and will be back.

Hidden Valley is a very nice course that is fun for us average golfers. Nice layout with lots of variation on hole configuration. Most of the greens were in good shape, round 8n shape and slanted back to front. Some of steep drop offs on the back side so leaving the ball short is the better option. Staff is friendly the beer is cold and we enjoyed the food. We're going again in a couple days and every time we're in the area.

Course yardage belies its length due to dog legs and hills. Fun course! Most greens are elevated so you have to be accurate. Speed is true and greens well cared for. Next time I will know how to better manage the course. Played alone, no wait , no rush. All locals were very friendly and helpful. Marley , running pro-shop and bar restaurant was an excellent hostess!
