One the Best westchester Public links
Nice course layout, challenging course especially when the Wind picked up. Well worth the price of admission. The course was in excellent shape and pace of play was good to fair. I would recommend this course.
A Gem
Saxon Woods is the gem of the County courses. I say this because the layout is gorgeous. Legend has that Tillinghast himself designed the famous fifth and possibly third holes while working on nearby Winged Foot 100 years ago.
It’s challenging, but not overly challenging. I’m 64 and it’s about as challenging as I like. The course, due to a moderately wet Spring, and good course maintenance, is in exceptional condition. Staff is very courteous.

Decent course 7/14/22 - short course slow greens
Not bad not great. Typical Westchester County track. Horrible excuse for a driving range don’t waste the $8 on fake balls.
Pace of play is atrocious, ranger drives around and does nothing, can’t imagine a weekend round at this place. Staff was friendly and no concerns there.
Enjoyed the round and the course was OK. Greens were very slow and trashed from un-repaired divots (ppl need to learn etiquette).
Driver not necessary except for 2/3 holes from the tips.

Fun day
It’s a nice layout with some short holes that are guarded with hazards. The only minor complaint I have is, while the rough is thick and challenging in some places, it could be shorter to help the pace of play. I spent considerable time looking for balls that hit just off of the fairway. I noticed the same thing with the group in front of us.
With that said, I had a great time and will be back.
