Painfully Slow pace of play
The course is very nice, however playing For three hours and only playing nine holes is terrible for the money that I paid. Waiting for 10 mins on each hole is not fun at all. Rangers Need to do a better job managing pace of play
The pace of play was very slow- ove 5 hours to play. Everything else was excellent!
Molasses
Yup cold molasses at that. It’s a public track on a glorious day. Guess I should’ve seen it coming.
It was great to see the kids program happening. They were really into it. Brightest spot!
Rude Staff
Every member of the staff we interacted with were absolutely so rude, especially the starter. It put us in a terrible mood to start out. The course is pricier than others we play at so to be treated so poorly by staff and to be paying for their services was deplorable. All of them should be required to take a customer service class.
First Time
The staff was very helpful and accommodating, we arrived early due to our error. The staff was pleasant, helpful and found us a slot that got us out early.
Fun course, super SLOW
Have played many times before. always like this place. However this time was the day after 4 days of rain so cart path only. And the group of 4 in front of us on a very busy day were hitting multiple balls on almost every hole and I saw one of them practically giving one of the others a lesson on the tee box. Also, no coolers allowed, on a 90 degree day and only saw the cart person on the 3rd hole the entire 4 plus hours
Course in Good Shape, but . . .
First time on Saxon this year. The course is in very good shape. Pace of play was a bit slow (5:15 round with an 11 am start). I would give the course 4 stars if except for the fact that the Mens Room by the 13th green is a filthy cesspool. Clogged toilet. Dirty sink. Etc. etc. Dreadful and I don’t understand why the Westchester County or NYS health officials would ket them get away with this.
Great Course
Another nice Westchester county course. In great shape and moved rite along since the short rain storm scared some people off. Starter was cranky and pushy but guess we all have bad days.
