Somers You Win, Somers You Lose
Well run and standard issue public course in a wooded development. Driving range and putting green adds to country club feel. Staff and amenities all above average.
The course itself needs some help. None of these holes are for the faint of heart and ball loss to quality of course ratio is off. Unforgiving to a fault. Needs someone with golfing knowledge to adapt where possible. I realize land at a premium but let’s be serious. This is not a good layout.
Something Needs to Change
This course has a few real golf holes but more sorry excuses for them. Playing this course might be better then not playing golf at all.
Halfway shack is great. Food and pro shop are great as well. Nice people, just bad bones of a golf course.
Local course for Westchester area
Typical public course that could use work on tee boxes, fairways and greens. Canada Goose droppings are everywhere as are the geese. If it’s not close by for you, it may not be worth the drive to play a weekend round.
Amazing conditions!
Absolutely amazing course! Great conditions! Great layout! Only thing was a few tee boxes wasn’t cut but other then that perfect!

Brutal
Not worth it at all. Great carts is all I have to say. Other than that terrible all around from start to finish.
Not the worst, not the best
Varying Tee boxes are in rougher shape than others, but course needs more water overall. (I know we haven’t been getting much rain.) Greens we’re fairly quick but manageable, fairways were solid. You can see how much the water affects the course in positive and negative ways. Overall not a bad place to play, and not hard to get to. Would recommend to others.
