Nice short course, challenging greens.
I am not a long ball hitter but was able to reach most greens in two. Greens were very challenging. Soft enough so you could stick it but fast to putt. lots of slops, undulations, etc. It was a fun round. One bad aspect is that two of the holes need some work. # 10 & #11. Very hard packed with thin grass. We had a very slow group in front so it was an easy choice to skip around.
The next time I am in the Branson area, I will try to play it again.
This is a fun, but challenging course.
Holiday Hills is a good course. The greens were a little spotty in places, but it's also October. I was most frustrated with the speed of play. There was no course marshall to monitor play and no starter to monitor tee times. Green number 10 is being worked on so they had a make shift green out in front which takes away from the round. But overall, it was fun.
Give the course just an OK.
Can be tight and rolling. Anyone with a hard time walking should think twice. Lots if ups and downs.
Good course, Bad pro shop.
The course was fun, short and not to difficult. A few challenging holes. We had a problem with our reservation. We showed up at our scheduled time but it was raining, very cold and no one was out on the course. we rescheduled our round for the next morning but when we arrived they would not honor the price that we obtained through GolfNow. The elder gentlemen behind the counter said he told us the day before when we rescheduled that they would not honor the rate. My playing partner and myself did not recall this conversation. I voiced my disappointment but he took an attitude of wanting to argue and I saw no point. We payed and played because we were there but will not play or recommend this to anyone else. They could have done the right thing but chose not to.
Several greens in poor conditions
During my round on hole16 we had a small shower enough to make the asphalt slick. The 80 year old man I was playing with lost control going down hill and darn near turned the cart over, luckly he saved it thus avoiding I serious injury. It was a steep downhill path I feel he did everything correctly. After completion of round we reported incident, official at clubhouse said he was responsible for damage. The man could of been seriously injured. They unjustly harrassed this man over $300 damage to the golfcart. This happened on october 2nd. In the pm. The problem was there was no safe way to continue to the green.
A pleasent golfing experience
Having just had my game fall apart the preceeding day on a championship course (for a lot more dollars), Holiday Hills was a relaxing change and I got my game back on track
Great course for all skill levels.
The setting is picturesque and offers many different chances to use your course management and golf ettiquette knowledge.
The greens are really fast
Overall it is a good course I would play it again.
course was fun
The course was very nice. Really enjoyed the GPS in the carts. Only complaint I would have is the greens were extremely fast. It was like putting in your kitchen floor.
Beautiful layout
This course has been well though out with sand in play on your drive as well as around the greens. Several elevated tees and water in play around the course make for a fun round.
Far tougher than rating and slope indicate
In great condition - plays very tough if you play in the rough.
Very challenging course.
Greens in great shape and very receptive to high shots holding.
The course is set up for every golfer
One of the things we liked the most was the handicaps were listed for each tee. One could play from the golds to the reds depending on your handicap. The course appears to be open, but it has some very tricky holes requiring specific placement. It is a short but demanding course which makes it fun to play. I would recommend you try it.
The only downside was putting us, a twosome, behind a foursome who had no intention of letting us through!
Loved the course
Enjoyed the course, however the pace of play was unbelieveably slow. The slowest I've played this year. Maybe
I just caught them on a bad day.
Part of the course fair condition(front 9), back nine needs work. Many interesting holes but sometimes confusing to find pin. GPS on cart helped
Not welcomed. Arrived an hour early to hit range balls, they have no range. At checking told since we were Golfnow we would be held to our tee time, also asked how much we paid. First time we ever felt unwelcomed at a course. Apparently Linda doesn't feel we are worthy. We plan to let all of our golf buddies and vacationing friends know Holiday Hills is not a place to go.
outstanding as usual
With all the rain sw mo has had in past week. I thought course would be unplayable. But holidays amazing grounds crew had the course not only playable but in excellent condition. This is one of Bransons best courses
Beautiful rolling hills.
Enjoyed playing this course. Played with a less skilled player. He enjoyed it as well. Greens were faster than expected. Lush fairways. Would play again.
Great vacation course
Elevation in the hills of Missouri are challenging enough, but this course allows you to experience the changing elevation without making you want to give up the game! Very enjoyable for a vacation option. It is wide open, so you don't spend a lot of time ball hunting for a drive that is just off the fairway! Highly recommend this course!
Enjoyable Round!
From the beginning at the beautiful putting green to the manicured tree-lined fairways this course was a very enjoyable golfing experience. We had to keep our eyes open for errant shots on the parallel fairways as a couple of foursomes hit into us without warning. Most of the greens were in excellent condition. Course was fairly short with only one par 5 but a fun and enjoyable course.
Good Seniors, Juniors or Ladies course.
This is a very nice but very short course. There is only 1 par 5 hole, a number of par 3's and quite a few par fours that are 300 yards or less.
The greens were very nice.
I played with my wife and young son. We did enjoy the course very much. My son had the best round he has ever had.
A short but very technical course. THINK about club selection.
This appears to be a simple short course, but it is tricky. You have to manage the course or it will eat you alive.
