Maple Moor Golf Course

Course was just redone and should not have opened yet. Greens and traps are good but fairways are not great at all. Still work going on, new sod is dried out and some areas are bare dirt. Give it till next season for it to be complete.

I have played Maple Moor over the past 16 years pre renovation. It was one of the first courses I learned to play the game so it holds a special place in my heart. With that said, I recently played this over hyped goat path of a track and was DEEPLY disappointed. The course is not ready for play at any level. With ripped up fairways, gravelly tee boxes and greens that were as chewed up as I have seen rivaling the worst muni’s. With courses like Doral Arrowwood in Purchase, Centennial, Mohansic, Hudson Hills, Patriot Hills and Mansion Ridge all in range DO NOT waste your time and money. My round was a house of horrors. Never again!

the course has been closed to renovate, they opened too early..golf course is still a construction site. cart path only and tee boxes are a mess. not worth the money

$5 million in improvements later...there’s nothing remarkable to report. Whereas Saxon Woods changed its sixth hole dramatically when it’s work was done, the layout remains the same. And it’s a challenging tract with a tough finishing hole. But...there are many fairways with sod and they are soggy. The tee boxes markers are ridiculously close together, making for a small box. Many flags were placed in very tough spots, often near the fringe. Today’s round was cart path only due to recent rains and I expect this will be the norm more often than not this summer. On a positive note, the cart deposit is just a buck, as opposed to Saxon’s $5. The pro shop is nicely stocked. The Grille seems to be very popular; in the past I’ve found grabbing a hot dog and drink to take a while. Out on the course, the beverage machines are either gone or out-of-order. Not great on a sweltering afternoon. There’s a hot dog stand after the 5th/14th. All-in-all, I’m more likely to go to the other Westchester public courses this year

The course us under repair, ground replacement and digging. There's mud everywhere and construction hazards everywhere. The tee boxes have been moved and some tees ate in the fairway. The greens have bare spots and construction workers are blocking cart paths.

In short, this course us a mess and should not be open now.

Late in season, some temporary tee boxes , greens a little rough but overall a challenging course good layout, couple of par 4 you can go for in 1

Pro shop guy was rude. Starter guy was hilarious. Fairway are decent shape. Green are horrible. Pace of play was horrible. I would pay 20 bucks to play again

A great Westchester county course with wide fairways and a nice layout. The course was in good condition (especially given the amount of rain the last few days). Pace of play was a bit slow but that should be expected on a nice Saturday afternoon. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Will definitely come back.

This course was in dismal, borderline unplayable condition. The fairways have little to no grass and all mud, the traps are filled with water and mud, and the tee boxes are completely unkempt and ridden with weeds.

I play this course at least 3 times a month and never had issue. On this day we teed off on the 1st hole and it started pouring down r

aining after we teed off. So we turned back around to see if we could get a rain check and the person behind the desk said they are not giving rainchecks. I told him even if the rain stops we will not have time to finish the round. He stated he can not make that decision and I will need to wait for the golf pro to return to see if he would give me a refund. So I did not get a refund or raincheck.

If you play this course after it rains it does not drains well and some of the holes were under water.

Course is in excellent condition. Play was slow thru 9 but picked up on the back nine.
