Maple Moor Golf Course

The course is that challenging so I assume the keep the ruff extreamly high. I lost three balls in the ruff! Also there are areas where the grass is knee high. Concern about ticks!

Rolling terrain, but only 1 blind shot. Conditions were very good for all the rain we've had. Many of the greens are raised up, so take extra club. finished in 3.5 hours, excellent!

Very good pace of play greens a little slow and bumpy nice county course

This is a course with a lot of history that should be fun to play. Unfortunately it is fallen on hard times. Maintenance is at a minimum. Grass is not mowed on a regular schedule and so pace of play is agonizing as people lose their ball 2 feet off the fairway. Halfway concession stand has minimal food choices on the rare occasions it's opened. And drainage is in sad shape; fairways are more muck than grass n several riverside holes.

Course was not in good shape, but it is still early in season ..

Twosome we played with said" Maplemore" is their least favorite of the county courses, I had to agree..

Could use some extra care..

Love this course! Picturesque layout, course was in great shape! Barely any leaves on the course for this time of year, its like a hidden gem ! Will try to play again next weekend on December 4th, as thats my birthday!

Have played this course many times. The greens were harder and faster today than I've ever seen them. The course was in good condition. The rough was uneven and very thick in spots, but the biggest problem were the leaves. Couldn't find several balls that actually landed in fairways only to roll off into the rough and under blankets of leaves.

Some holes are very easy, while some are very challenging. When the greens are fast, the slope in the greens make putting quite difficult, especially on the back nine.

Great deal here and not overcrowded. The pizza there on site is the best around!!

Conditions were perfect greens rolling excellent. Course was challenging and scenic. Great practice facility for chipping and putting. No driving range.

Not told of greens aeration and temporary holes on entire front nine!!!!!!

Mediocre course. They just aerated today so the greens were as bad as you can get (I'll give them a pass on that). Lots of weeds in the roughs and too many brown bare spots in the fairway. The course design was nice, pretty forgiving for a beginner. Carts are gas, which is loud and annoying. Probably won't play it again.

I have been playing on this course longer than 25 years.Starting with the blue tee,now using the senior tee.My handicap started with 10,now 23.It is a bit sad,but I still enjoy my play here.I am very much familiar with every detail of the course,so I know exactly where to hit with which clubs should be used.But there is one hole I have never made par.The 9th hole.Scientifically you need or must hit a ball from the tee with a driver over 200 yards minimum to get a par,as the remaining distance would be another 200 yards to carry.And still you need an accurate shot to land the ball within 10 yards from the flag.The green is tiny and on the left there is a river.I tried many types of shots,still in vain.

Greens were very thick and slow, the tee boxes are patchy and covered with weeds. The pace of play is usually very poor, the starter throws together and maxes out groupings to get as many people out as possible rather than send more competent groups first. The ranger does nothing to help pace of play. The course plays OK, relatively short and forgiving. If you're looking for a public course to play once in a while, this one is local to Westchester residents and if you get a hot deal price I would say its worth it, otherwise steer clear.

Well maintained course, not too crowded, ranger keeps the pace moving. I had a great time and will definitely go back.

Review is based on today's round. The weather, course conditions, playing company, and price all cooperated at once. Couldn't have asked for a better day of golf. The ruff was even cut from last time I remembered.

Great course paired up with two good players.
