Slow play
The course was in great shape as always. The pace of play was terrible. Two foursomes of walkers in front of us. Asked to play the front 9 again and were allowed too. Finished close to an hour quicker than if we had played the back 9.

Scenic .. well maintained
After the major renovations from last year, the course is outstanding, scenic, challenging, and an overall pleasure to play.
Great course
This place has come along way only place in Westchester you can play right after rain it drains better than most country clubs. Sometimes the pace of play is slow because of how good of condition is the course is in. Great value for the price of the course. I play here 2 to 3 times a week only other course I would place a country club it’s in such good shape here in October you can’t beat it for the deal
As the weather cools, there were fewer golfers which improved the pace of play. The course was in good shape for the weather that we’ve had.
Best bang for your buck
A really fun creative golf course, every hole seems to have a purpose and challenge. Also it's really hard to beat some of the vistas on the back 9. I play here every week now.
Great course, horrible guy behind the counter
Love the course but the guy behind the counter is nasty and unhelpful
Greens too slow
Greens were un puttable. Needed a driver to get ball to hole. I’ve played temporary greens that were faster.
Should have discounted green fees for Condition of greens. Nice layout, good variety. Need GPS to pick up group in front on all holes.
Going back!
The course was renovated about a year ago and it shows. The cart paths are paved, this is great especially if you have a bad back! The fairways are in very good shape as is the rest of the course. Well placed shots are rewarded, but watch out for the trees that line the fairways, just enough to grab your ball out of the air. The rough is not overwhelming but good contact is needed to advance your ball. Thank you ground keepers for keeping the course in great shape
Very competent
Sprain has been run smoothly and course is maintained at a high level for a long time now. People don’t realize how hard it is to maintain a course with hackers hacking away from sunup to sundown. Kudos to the entire crew.
Just wish they didn’t take my buddies plaque off the tree on 8th tee

Enjoyed course but foursome in took 15 minutes literally on every green
sprain lake in good condition
with the heavy rain this week, the course was in very good shape due to the drainage at the course.
the superintendent and his maintance grew due a great job.

Greens was in great shape as well as the fairways. I always love playing at sprain
Nice municipal course
Overall nice course. They are very organized. Need more water stations. No bathroom till the 8th hole. Otherwise very well maintained. Pace of play a little slow. 4 hrs and 40 minutes. I would go back
