Temper Your Expectation
Sprain has been my "go to" course for years, and this year did not disappoint. That said, the greens have recently been aerated and are quite bumpy, with inconsistent speeds. (The price we golfers pay for quality greens.) The fairways are also a bit beaten up. As the season wanes, things should improve, but bear the conditions in mind. Note to management for next season: Cart paths could use repaving.
Greens were aerated . Not a problem . Layout is great pace of play a bit slow at the start but better as the round progressed . Nice course and nice people .
Horrible Experience
The course might be convenient for those that live in nearby or live in Westchester - but definitely not for those like myself who lives in Orange County about an hour north from Westchester. I found a great deal on golf now and as an avid player figured I'd give a try. From my start to finish, the pace of play was the worst I've ever experienced. At the end of play my total round was approximately almost five and a half hours and that's including skipping two holes to try to advance. The course itself is short and tight, as you're teeing off on some holes others are coming in your direction as they play their hole which leads to a lot of balls crossing fairways on either side. For most of play all you hear is "Fore" which at times became annoying because I had to constantly be on the look out to avoid being hit by a ball. Overall bad experience and will definitely never play there again.

Played during a wind storm and the course was in great condition and looked great. It’s my favorite course and I love playing it

I paid for my round on this website & when we checked in my friend also paid at the course
Having the Ranger speed up play would be helpfull
Unfortunately the greens has a lot of damage from not repairing ball marks & inexperienced golfers dragging there feet on the greens . Otherwise it’s a nice course .
Great course!
Layout is great, condition is great. This day only played 15 due to rain. I recommend this course.
