About Pacific Palms Resort
Pacific Palms Resort is billed as "LA's hilltop hideaway", the only full-service luxury golf and conference resort in Los Angeles County. The setting of the 292-room hotel and two golf courses by William F. Bell and Casey O'Callaghan is set against the San Gabriel Valley Mountains. Live music and jazz sets the mood at the Red Restaurant and Bar. The Industry Hills Golf Club's Eisenhower and Zaharias courses have been upgraded over the years with new turf and infrastructure, but their historical layouts remain unchanged.Facts

Love this course!
Great course however the bunkers need some work. Second time playing in the last month and bunkers are like concrete! They could use some attention. Also the only other issue was that the beverage cart came only twice, and both times were early on the front nine.
Nice couirse
Course layout is quite nice, lots of changes in elevations. Pace out play can be improved. A group of 4 some ahead of us was several holes behind the groups ahead of them and we had to wait for them on most holes. Finished the round in about 4 hr 30 min, not too terrible, but 4 hr or less, considering number of people on the course.
One major disappointment: bunkers have almost no sand and are rock hard. Also fairways are quite dry, but that's understandable since it has been a very dry winter in socal.
Bunkers and Rough
I’ve played both courses at Industry Hills many times since my childhood, but I have to say this is the worst shape I have seen the bunkers and rough. The multitude of bunkers on Ike had little to no sand. This made playing out of the bunkers like playing on hard pan or the desert.
The rough at Industry Hills used to be very challenging as it was long and consistent throughout the start and end of each hole. Now, the rough is very patchy especially off the fairways and very inconsistent at times. As for the green side rough, It was very hit or miss with many places that were trimmed down to less than 1 inch length and lots of patchy grass in between.
Overall the course for the price is a good value, however, the pleasant-ness of the how the golf course should be is very marred with the horrible conditions of the bunkers and rough.
CAN NOT FINNISH 18 HOLES IN 4 HOURS
SPEND 3 HOURS FOR FRONT 9 AND ALWAYS 2 GROUP WAITING ON TEE BOX ARE REGULAR PACE OF PLAY...
Bunkers
These courses are always in great shape and very challenging, but why are the bunkers so bad?? Always, bad. No sand, full of rocks, hard packed, wet, terrible. They’re waste areas, not bunkers. It baffles me. Can they do something about it? Throw in some sand, maintain the bunkers.
New Years 2025 Golf ..
Happy New Year's
Always a great place to play a round ...
Ikes course was the challenge.
Birdie and PARS on scorecard to start 2025.
Cheers ...
Fantastic views
This was my first time playing Babe Course! It’s great experience, wonderful atmosphere and views, fairway is kind of a narrow and Challenge! Labels are kind of tough to find, we saw few groups players cruise around try to find the way……We will be back fore sure!
Mediocre at best.
Greens were in decent condition. Tee boxes are terrible, crowned, no flat stance. Worst bunkers I’ve played. No sand at all. Nothing to rake. Back nine we just started pulling ball out.
Bunker sand?
The course was nice but there was little to no sand in the bunkers not fun to get out of them.
Great course but very difficult to play.
This was my first time playing the Babe course. Very tight, narrow fairways and very difficult to play. Not for the high handicap golfer. Lost a lot of balls and we really didn’t have any fun. Also, too pricy for the course. Probably won’t play here again.
