The Resort at Pelican Hill
About The Resort at Pelican Hill
The Resort at Pelican Hill is one of SoCal's trendiest getaways, whether it's for golf or to unwind. The resort takes inspiration from the 16th century Italian architect Andrea Palladio. Each one-story bungalow guest room or suite features its own limestone fireplace, private terrace and marble bath. The 2- to 4-bedroom villas are secluded within their own gated community. Guests can lounge at the Coliseum pool and spa or shuttle to the Crystal Cove beach. Tom Fazio's North and South courses both kiss the Pacific Ocean with outstanding views throughout the round. Six restaurants will tempt your appetite.Facts

Expensive but good.
Staffs were kind, green's condition was good. I enjoyed all with beautiful ocean view.
UNBELIEVABLE
Holy Smokes!!! Enough said! -- The south course was easily in my top 5 courses for beauty and set up. Playability was outstanding minus the one hole with a double green and no drop zone.
If you are looking for picturesque golf course look no further. The staff was nothing but professional hospitable and amazing.
The course was a multi-picture course because of the views. If it is a windy day, this course could be an absolute beast, but the day I played we have picture perfect weather.
I know where I will play again when I return, and I can't wait to play the North Course for comparison!
SoCal's Best Golf Resort
Kicked off 2022 Golf season with a bucket list round in Orange County, CA. Absolutely terrific round with perfect weather and the best company. That said… be mindful of the pull of the ocean on every putt!
Wow
Pelican delivered on what it promised. Great golfing with amazing views. Make sure you bring stuff to change and shower to maximize your experience; this includes the dining options. Definitely a bucket list kind of thing.
What’s with those practice tees for the cash paid?
Overall had a really great time on a fun and challenging course. It starts off with the practice tees. It’s mats (which is OK maybe). But like hit on a waterbed The mats might be a great training aide for playing in conditions where rain water is trapped under grass. $340 have some good practice tees.
The course was great. Great views, nice tee boxes, fairways and greens. Played with a Marshall that just finished his shift and he was helpful and a great guy. Thanks to the staff overall, great experience.
Breathtaking beauty
It has some easy holes and some very challenging ones. Great mix. Had a great time
Spectacular!!
Every hole is a challenge but fair. Had a great time
1st time - probably last time at Pelican Hill
While the location of the course and the ocean views are amazing, the cost is exorbitant compared to other local courses. The North course was challenging but fun to play. We certainly enjoyed our round but were disappointed with the food service. The cart that come around twice had limited food and beverage options. Granted we were playing a bit slower pace, but given the challenge of the course, especially for first timers, some consideration should be given before marshals tell us to pick up the pace.
Great course, friendly staff,pricey.
It was a beautiful course, staff were friendly; fairway is in great shape. The price is on the expensive side unless you have membership but it was sold out for this season.
No Marshall or Beverage Cart after 9
Seriously gorgeous layout and great greens! But pass of play was extremely slow because had a group in front of us that had to be 4-5 holes behind pace. Worse part is they didn’t even seem to care, because they took group pictures after playing horrible golf and 46 practice swings each before every shot!! Needed Marshall to keep them speed up a bit. But all in all had a great time and gorgeous scenery even with very annoying group wasting their money and my time because of zero golf etiquette and even worse golfing ability. If you going to play bad golf do it fast, that was best golf advice I ever got from my Dad!
wow
an absolutely awesome day golfing at such a beautiful venue. staff is very friendly, helpful and accommodating..course is in great shape and challenging
The most beautiful course
Very Friendly staff and an overall amazing golf course
