Some of the tees were in poor condition plus don’t bring your putter; bring a mallet or sledge hammer! The greens are terrible and I am surprised this course gets as much play as it does!

The fairways were in good shape and the staff was friendly, courteous and professional!

Challenging shorter course with trouble if you don't control your ball flight. 7 or 8 holes on the Chochtawatchee Bay....great views. Gotten pricey like all courses in Walton County.

Beautiful layout with 8 holes on the Choctawathcee Bay. Greens ok but could be better with a litlle more care.

Course is well worth the money! Have not seen this course with this much grass in a few years….. greens were true, and green ( a little slow, but not complaining). Well done!

Tee boxes are not in good shape.

No ball washers and limited garbage cans.

No attendant at club drop off.

No rangers keeping pace of play.

Cracks (huge) in concrete all over.

Only benefit of course is the location/views.

Course needs to be maintained and professional at this price point.

i have not played this course in 6-months due to the greens being in such poor condition the previous times I played this course. I was hoping they would be in better condition but I was very disappointed. Bumpy, incredibly slow, and so many holes where pin locations were previously that have not grown back. If spending the money to golf at San Destin, I would not recommend playing the Baytowne course. Everything else about Baytowne was great (fairways, layout, tee boxes, staff), but it seems like the greens are just not important.

SMALL putting green for TWO courses. SMALL bathroom for two courses. Practice range ran out of balls.

As the name “Link at Sandestin” says this course has several holes along the bay side of the Destin area. Back nine course is much prettier than front nine for that reason.

Only allowed irons for ranges due to short length but free range balls are a plus for easy warm ups prior to the rounding. Course layout is vet flat as typical in Florida but very demanding due to wind from bay/ocean. Conditions could be better for golf resorts but generally good conditions. Greens were not fast and had some weeds I. Some of the holes. Green fee was surprisingly reasonable so i can say this is a good course for the money.

Always love playing this course. Mainly for the views. Picturesque. The pace of play is always a bit slow due to some first timers trying to play the tee boxes that they shouldn’t. At least that’s what the two groups ahead of me did.

This is a mainly a target golf layout due to the water, sand and tight fairways.

In good shape.

Food at the turn is priced right.

Also saw the cart attendant a few times during my round.

Enjoy the round by knowing it may be slow.

Take in the sights.

The course was in good condition. The pace of play was good. It was great for 9 holes. Not sure why it really slowed down on back.

If you are used to fast greens please please please go the practice green to help adjust. I’m guess rolling 8 and have been playing 11s and just an adjustment.

This course should have no doubles and should be your personal best. Go for it.

Im not a great golfer, but this course was a good time. Couple shots into the water, but with the views like that you can't be mad.

Wanted to play a course while we visited from Texas, glad we chose The Links. Great place to play.

Had a great time on the links today, it was in great shape and enjoyed the round very much.

A must play when you are in the area.

I have been playing golf here for about 5 years now, and I always love and enjoy playing golf here. The pro shop named, Jerry is always welcoming me back and he was always pleasant with all the customers he checked in.

Also the Starter named, Michael is very accommodating to all golfers. The bag boys are always ready to take care of the golf bags upon arrival and after golf to clean and load up my golf bag.

Overall good day of golf. However the pace if play was a little slow. Did notice a group of five walking and a few others that slowed the pace down. The cart paths were broken up pretty bad but other than that the day was great. I would recommend keeping the snack bar open later than 4 pm for later rounds.
