Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort

Water on or along 14 holes keeps the game interesting. Wind was a factor. Enjoyed the track.

Fun and challenging course. Great views of the Bay. Course was in great condition.

Beautiful setting! Wonderful staff. Back 9 ion pristine shape….front 9 not maintained as well.

Have played this course now three times. After checking in I went to the range where I had to wait about fifteen minutes for one of the eight bays to open up. The range balls had not been washed as the majority of them were muddy. They just pick the range and put them back into the baskets. They had more than half the range closed (see pictures). With two courses (Raven and Baytowne) going, only having 8 spots to hit from on the range is an incredibly dumb move. The bathroom in the pro shop was out of order too. The course itself was in good shape and pace of play was good for a resort course.

The many sand traps were in horrible condition The cart path is in desperate need of repair. The practice range was set up for only 8 to 10 golfers —-less than half the number needed to serve their two 18 hole courses.

Course overall was in good condition. The greens at the Links course were head and shoulders better than Baytowne. Several of the sand traps could use some more sand. Several tee boxes need some attention and grass. Had a nice time.

Only issue was yardages on the cart GPS were all wrong. Probably cost me four or five strokes and two balls in the water.

Staff were all friendly and helpful. Course conditions were good to very good. Layout requires premium accuracy.
