Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort

One of the most scenic courses I played this week. Highly recommended

This course is the most scenic on the three available courses here. It has the most potential to be fantastic of the three. It need several modestly priced improvements. Move the pro shop to the lower lever and include the snack shop. Improve the practice facility. And tune up the bunkers.

For winter the conditions are ok.

Paired with golfers that got to the tee 45 minutes late and wouldn’t let me tee off till they arrived. Paid for 18 and only got to complete 9 because of the late start.

People friendly and accommodating. Course is good. Fun layout.

Given the overall rating of Baytowne and some of the recent negative comments, I was pleasantly surprised by the positive playing experience. Other than the first hole south of 98 (11? 12?) the course is in overall excellent condition. The greens were recently re-done, so they are definitely slower than other greens, but they are at least very "green" and pleasant to look at. I'll definitely be back and prefer it over The Links any day of the week.

Th Raven is in very good condition for February. Greens rolled well, tee boxes in good shape, fairways were good for this time of year. Played at 7:10 so pace was not in issue. Will play again in the near future.

Course is the prettiest of the Sandestin public courses. Spectacular bay views on 5 of the 18 holes. Well-maintained. Greens especially good--better than I've seen them before. Lots of ponds/lakes/water hazard. Better be able to hit it pretty straight! Fun course to play.

Baytown is a well layered out golf course. Lots of water and sand come into play. Greens are in the best shape in years.

You won’t be disappointed in playing this course.

Friendly atmosphere and staff members are helpful.

The dormant Bermuda grass is waking up early at the Links. Played several other courses in the area and all of them were dormant brown. Greens were a little slow (soft) and hard to read. Fun course and layout.

This is a great course, layout and setting. Only wish is that the bunker maintenance was improved. Range is better this year with the mats

The Links is a fun, challenging course. Lots of water in play but it doesn’t make it impossible to play. Well maintained, great greens and friendly staff.
