Walt Disney World

For a Disney Resort higher end golf course I was very disappointed. The greens were not good at all and it was because they were just aerated. I am an avid golfer and normally very easy going and normally give the golf course the benefit of the doubt but this was not good. The boxes were not good as well.

The only issues were the cost of club hire and pedestrian access.

Drove almost 3 hours to play the Magnolia course with its newly designed “Grumpy’s Gauntlet”. Fun layout with tons of potential but the conditions were rough. Fairways and tee boxes had lots of dirt patches. Almost every green side lie was bad and the greens were not nearly as fast as they lead you to believe. Overall ok, wouldn’t recommend right now.

This is my second time in a couple of months playing and nothing has been done to the course. The greens and rough are in terrible condition. For the price I can golf other places.

First time playing a Disney Palm Course course.. Upon arrival staff were fantastic. The putting green and driving range were excellent.. I arrived on the tee to be told a lot of the holes were caught path only which was fine but I didn’t realise how wet the golf course actually was. It was absolutely soaked! I know Florida gets a lot of rain in the summer, but there was puddles all over the fairways. The course itself is a very good test with lots of water as you expect, but they do need some irrigation system in place as it was way too wet for end of July. My shoes were covered in mud by the end of the round. If the course was dry, I would recommend it highly.

Course was very wet and muddy. Was cartpath only which slowed down the round to just over five hours for 18. Staff was very nice and friendly. Of course amenities were to be expected for the course. Was not told cartpath only until we made it to the starter which was very disappointing. Still would recommend course two friends and family.

The course is in nice condition a little bit too expensive for my taste.

Lots of bunkers beware, greens in excellent shape.
