About Jekyll Island
Jekyll Island is a state park and resort community situated on this island among the Golden Isles on the Georgia coast. It is notable to golfers in that it has 63 holes of publicly accessible golf and a collection of partner hotels and beachfront resorts. Golf here dates back to 1926 with the 9-hole Ocean Dunes course, designed by Walter Travis. Three additional 18-hole courses have since been added to the Jekyll Island Golf Club. Accommodations range from luxury resorts to smaller hotels. Options include the Beachview Club Hotel, Jekyll Ocean Club and Jekyll Island Club Resort. Conditions were not up to my expectations for the resort and the cost of my round. Course is flatter than flat and that might be the reason for the poor conditions, I know the other courses were raised several feet during recent renovations.
Layout is nothing special, but with the flat terrain, the character comes with the greens and bunkering. I would play the Great Dunes course twice over Oleander.

Hard winter weather?
A nice layout and friendly staff with great practice facility along with new carts and gps but the grass on fairways was thin and some rough spots on the greens that looked like freeze damage? The greens rolled well but had some rough patches which hopefully will heal but it might take a few weeks.

Fantastic experience.. love the course... pro shop and restaurant are TOP notch.. very friendly... relative to other courses in the area.. the value can’t be beat.. 40 dollars to ride 18 teeing off at 12:30 on a Tuesday

Pine Lakes Course fairways are really thin
Greens are in good shape but fairways are thin and approach shots in front of greens are sandy...Don’t try lo run ball up...fly it to flag..Nice bag guys and starter..
