To my suprise
Me and my wife played Indian Mound today and were pleased to find the course in good shape. The greens are Bermuda and there were a few bare spots on the greens , but the layout was challenging and the fairways were wide open. A was please to find the facility had a nice driving range, chipping area and large putting green. I would recommend
Great Course for the Money
Great course for the money and in a great location. The greens were a little rough and need some work. As well as the tee boxes, but other than that it was good! I don’t think the course knows fully what their relationship is with Golf Now. I booked it on Golf Now and paid in full but then when I got to the course the man in the pro shop had me pay again…..I’m going to cancel the charge but the course needs to work out what their relationship is with GolfNow.
An absolute dog track
We met Rick, who set up our bags and was a delight to talk with. That was the best things that happened all day on this course. OK, so they had a lot of rain in the past couple days and the range was closed. There were puddles here and there in the rough, but that's no excuse for not mowing the fairways, raking the bunkers and maintaining the course. The pro shop claimed they only had 8 - count them 8 - grounds crew to maintain all 3 courses and they were spending all their efforts at Pine Lakes across the street.
The greens were a disgrace. Divots or animal diggings in the green. Stripes of scalped grass on almost every green, bare spots everywhere.
The following day we played Pine Lakes and that course was not perfect, ,but miles better than that sorry excuse called Oleaner.
Conditions could be due to the time of the year
Played Indian Mound. The course had a decent layout but the fairways and tees were in poor condition. The greens were not nearly as bad. The staff was outstanding. Very friendly and helpful.

Great pace. Fun course. Grass on fairways very short. Mowers out blowing dirt around.
Golf shop employees, not very friendly. Starter, great attitude and friendly. Course was nice to play(Pine Lakes). The pace of play was good. Employees in the grill not wearing masks, but guests were asked to, but not while eating. Overall the course was fun to play.
Terrible
The one bright spot on this course was the lady at the pro shop. Course was in horrible shape. No ranger groups of five and six playing. Will not be going back.
Average Dick Wilson Course
Conditions were not up to my expectations for the resort and the cost of my round. Course is flatter than flat and that might be the reason for the poor conditions, I know the other courses were raised several feet during recent renovations.
Layout is nothing special, but with the flat terrain, the character comes with the greens and bunkering. I would play the Great Dunes course twice over Oleander.
