Ka'anapali Golf Resorts (Maui)

If you're looking for the opposite of Kapalua course, this is it. Beautifully manicured, wide fairways, gorgeous volcano rock and ocean views. Not many punishments for bad shots, but nice rewards for good shots.

The course is in a great location. Very nice views from most holes. The layout is player friendly. The staff was very friendly.

Fun course only grip I have is never saw a course Marshall. One group was very slow. At one point had a 4 group backup on #14 Staff was great to work with

Nice layout with superior views of Lanai and Molakai. Greens were tricky and fairly quick (10); rough was fair, fairways fairly dry without a lot of roll. Plays longer than card distances. GPS system outstandiing! A very run, moderately difficult course that we will play every time we're on Maui at this price!

Played this course only once and it was exceptionally windy to what I’m use too. Great course layout with nice elevation changes. I’m an 8-10 handicap and it played true to that number. Got a great deal at Golfnow.

The price was much higher than other courses we played. Greens had been sanded and small groves cut in green as part of sanding process making it near impossible to putt. Will not return.

Perfect last day in Hawai’i.

Most green are elevated so club selection critical. Also chip shots and pitches can not come up short as they will not bounce forward and may roll back down the slope. Overall fun and challenging especially for first timers and a 72 year old senior like me!

Apparently numerous courses aerate greens in September which is understandable, but not conducive to my dream vacation. The course itself had a great layout with nice ocean views, but good look trying to 1 put. Tee boxes and fairways were also aerated making for difficult lies throughout the round. The golf course did give a warning and a decent discount, but I expected more when still paying $100. I recommend avoiding this course until it heals up in a couple of weeks.

Newly punched and sanded greens made for uneven putting surface . Played in less than four hours !!

Being a novice golfer, everything there was great except the price of rental and balls. The views and course was well kept.

My poor review is solely based on green conditions and the fact that nobody told me the greens had just been punched. The greens were not playable which made the experience sub par. If you’re charging $150+ to play you have to let people know about the greens..

Pros: the fairways were in great shape and the views were pretty cool on several holes.

My son and I played the Kai course today for the first time and thoroughly enjoyed the round. First have to say the staff was very friendly from the pro shop down to the starter and attendants. The starter offered for us to tee off 30 minutes early since there was a gap. The clubhouse serves both courses and there is a good sized putting green (no practice bunker) and a driving range with mats that is adequate. The course itself was in great condition with shots in the generous fairways rewarded with great lies. The bunkers are maintained well overall with a few that were on the dry side. The greens were in terrific condition with challenging undulations. This course has incredible Maui scenic views of both mountains and ocean. We played at twilight which was a great value for the experience!
