About Ka'anapali Golf Resorts (Maui)
Ka'anapali is a resort development in the west Maui town of Lahaina. It is home to two golf courses, Royal Ka'anapali and Ka'anapali Kai, as well as a number of beachfront hotel and condominium properties that offer stay-and-play golf packages. Ka'anapali is a three-mile stretch of beach with 13 places to stay and 45 restaurants. Hotel brands include the Westin Nanea Ocean Villas, Westin Ka'anapali Ocean Resort Villas, Aston Maui Ka'anapali Villas, Royal Lahaina Resort, Maui Eldorado Ka'anapali by Outrigger, Sheraton Maui Resort & Spa, Ka'anapali Beach Hotel, Aston at The Whaler on Ka'anapali Beach, Westin Maui Resort & Spa, Marriott's Maui Ocean Club, Hyatt Regency Maui Resort, Spa & Residence Club and Ka'napali Royal. The beaches are famous for stand-up paddleboarding, snorkeling, sailing, parasailing, sunset dinners and whale watching. Robert Trent Jones Sr. designed the famous Royal Ka'anapali Golf Club in 1962 and the shorter Ka'anapali Kai course was added later.Facts

This course was enjoyable
Course is relatively easy - most holes have plenty of space and are pretty straightforward. Course is fine shape - not great but definitely not bad. We enjoyed the round.
Tropical Golf Club classic
Wonderful blend of level holes and some challenging elevation drops! Requires precise iron selection because of strong winds and severe slopes in fairways and greens. Fantastic test of skill!!

Greens need attention
The greens definitely need some TLC. A lot of burn and mower marks from improper cutting around greens. Not cut for a few days. Fairways and bunkers were ok.
Not worth the money paid

Great course
Great course great layout .no cart girl and no selection of sandwiches worth mentioning . Marshall was one of the grumpier men alive . Nicely groomed and great greens!!

Nice Course
This is a nice course and certainly an alternative to more expensive

Close to resort but…
Terrible policy that you can’t drive your golf cart with all your clubs to the range. Also, most of the employees were very unfriendly. Played twice this week different experience both times but consistently poor service… staff could use some training on customer service skills
Golf was fun otherwise
