Tanglewood Golf Course

If you are a beginner golfer then this course is for you. For those who have been playing golf for years skip this course. Greens are okay but fairways are like hitting hitting in your backyard. We hit numerous balls in the fairway and could not find the ball. The course needs to invest in some weed be gone for the fairways and around the greens.

The greens were recovering from aeration, the grass on the green was too long, greens were slow, fairways and tees appear to have been reseeded recently

The course is challenging and has a good layout. I would wait until next spring before trying this course again.

The rate was appropriate for the condition of the course

greens were standing water the fairways and ruffs were not mowed for the last few weeks there is crabgrass crabgrass everywhere not fun at all I paid for 18 and left after 9 it was a horrible experience.

Crab grass crab grass everywhere the course is not mowing and this was not an enjoyable experience. i feel sorry for the people that are staying overnight to play a course like this they should get all there money back.

I used to love this course as it tested your ability to put the ball in the air from various uneven lies. However now it adds to it by testing your ability to distinguish the fairway from the rough as it all is the same--weeds. Very disappointed even though I played pretty well. Won't be back until someone I know has played and says there is actual fairways. Wasted drive as I could have played many other courses in better shape on the way.

A tough course, but fairways were more weeds than grass. It worked against having a good time.

My title pretty much states it. If you go not expecting much, then maybe you will be ok. Crabgrass everywhere in the fairways, half dead tee boxes, greens with ball marks all over the place, and some overall bad holes are the norm here.

With all that said, I went knowing all this before hand as I have played the course several times. It was cheap and not too far away from the house. I will play it every once in a while just to get some golf in away from my home course. However, I don't think I would ever recommend the course to anyone unless I knew they would be ok with an overall below average course in return for a cheap price.

Used to have some of nicest and smoothest greens in the area, but they have them getaway from them, crusty with lots of divots Shame to let that happen

GolfNow is great for the beginner golfer as myself wanting to get out and learn the game without the worry of paying the average daily rates.

This course improved greatly last year under new ownership, but it appears the have lost the course this year. Many dead or washed out areas and greens (which were excellent last year, are terrible). Super nice people, and I wish them well, but I can't recommend this course at this time.

Played here for first time in 10 yrs. not much has changed with the course. Greens and tee boxes were in poor condition. It was 95 degrees when we teed off and all the water buckets were empty. No cart girl either.

There was a problem during our round with the sprinklers. Obviously the timer was not working correctly and we were held up several times due to the sprinklers being on around the greens. When we called the staff they did nothing to address the issue. They simply said that the timers were messed up and the person who knew how to make adjustments was not available.

Found this course while on vacation and decided to give it a go, since the pricing couldn't be beat. Paid $14 for 18 holes and a cart on a holiday weekend, that can't be matched anywhere. This course provided plenty of challenges, with the sloping fairways/greens to the elevation changes, tree-lined tee boxes and water hazards. Made several donations to the golf gods while on this course, but had a great time doing it. Would definitely love to play this course again!

Course was in pretty good shape, however, this is not a course you just jump on and play a single round. The elevation changes with blind tee and fairways shots combined with long grass everywhere allows for a frustrating round of you are not familiar with the course. I would only play this course if you are relatively close, get it for a good price, and plan to play it multiple times.

I played this course 2 years ago. Said I would never play it again! Why? It was in terrible condition. The staff was rude. And the villas, apartments they rented 2 years ago looked like they didn't belong on a golf course! With all of that why did I book a tee time? "Hot Deal"! Couldn't pass up the price and thought I would keep my head down, play a round with my dad, and go home.
I checked their website after booking the tee time and read "new owners".
In a paragraph or two they talked about getting the course better, the apartments better etc?

I was wrong! The course looks beautiful. The greens rolled true. The fairways were nice. The staff were very nice. The bunkers looked great. I was never in one? But looked 100% playable. I will be back to this course more often. Truthiness

You couldnt ask for a nicer play for the money,the greens were quick and the fairways were in great shape.The course was a bit challenging due to the hills, but will be easier to manage the next time I play. Only complaint is $12.50 for 6 beers... seemed a tad high.

Course in great condition- just wish the play was a bit faster
