Redhawk - Hills
Nice track with great views of the valley. A few of the fairways and a couple of greens were not in the best of condition otherwise the course was in very good condition.
Same pin positions and no cart girl
Played 2 days in a row they had same pin position, there was no cart girl, and the round took 5 hours
Also many trespassers on course people jogging, walking, riding bikes, talking and kids on motorized bikes.
On the 7th hole there were kids on bikes talking on cel phones trespassing talking while we were trying to tee off
On the 11th hole there were kids on motorized bikes causing problems with excessive noise
Also no cart girls and they never told us when checking in
Quick rounds
Played Red Hawk lakes course twice. The course layout is great and it was in outstanding condition. Greens were fast, but true and fairways were great.
Staff was very friendly and helpful!
Will be back to play the Hills course soon!
Slow play poor greens
Played back to back days 5 hour rounds each time
No beverage cart on 10/4/22
Also my bud hit on a par 4 guy was 275 away and Mr Yamamoto yelled at us said to be patient
over booked and slow play
It was a Monday, I had a Tee time of 2:30 and didnt get to play the last three holes because it got dark! Waaay overbooked.. play was ridiculously slow. Players behind us were getting imatant and hit in to our group several times. Nothing we could do! We were backed up and waiting at every Tee box for several minuetes each hole. Sad because it is a nice course- just way over booked!
Red Hawk Lakes
Beautiful course with lots of wild birds. 1st green has issues but all of the others rolled great. Fairways are very well maintained. Most of the Bunkers are hard as cement ( I know because I found probably a dozen of them) and it takes real finesse to control distance out of them. Overall we had a very enjoyable round of golf.
Pleasant day on a well priced course
Just a well maintained course that is a good test for the average golfer and beginners as well staff were very good and friendly good value and good course
Geese everywhere.Too much. Get rid of them
Geese or not an endangered species.
The golf course is completely invaded by geese everywhere.
The fairways and the greens are suffering because of the geese. They crap everywhere and it’s almost impossible to take your shot in certain areas of the golf course because of the goose crap.
Time to eliminate the overpopulation of geese that are destroying our local golf courses.
From now on all the courses that I play that are invaded by geese are going to get a negative review until something is done to correct this completely invasive species.
Ylopez
The pace of play at this course is ridiculously slow and the always overbooked the tee times.
Red Hawk
Have played the course many times. Always in good condition.
Very solid course. Greens were very fast and smooth.
Smoke from fire, slow play due to tournaments
We tee'd off during the hottest part of the day and it started out smoky from the California wild fires but got much worse by the end of the round. The whole round took about 5 hours due to the slow play from the two (2) tournaments that started earlier. By the time we got to the back nine there were 3 groups waiting on the 11th so we turned around and played Hole 10 again. Course was in beautiful shape. Starter was really nice
