June 24
Course was in great shape, even with all the recent rain.
The locker room is outdated.
Starter and cart attendants were great. Prices on beverage cart were reasonable.
The Pub atmosphere was just OK.
Steak quesadilla was good, wings were ok, my buddy liked them, but I did not care for them. Onion rings were also good.
Business Golf
Great coarse to entertain clients. I have already suggested to others and will play here again.
Great time
Golf staff was amazingly professional. Course is great shape. All of the Snack bar staff need a lesson in professional service. Everyone was rude when getting some food after the round. Couple next to us found 2 metal screws in their burger and staff was not very bothered by it. This is reason for the low rating on amenities.
Great Course, Friendly staff
I play this course multiple times a year as I am a local. It is in great condition right now(and usually is), everything is maintained very well with a very friendly staff. I played with one other single I was paired with and we flew through the round being the first ones off. Great course if you get the chance to paly it.
Amazing facility and staff
The staff and amenities are at the top of the list for central NC. Exceptional value and services. There’s really not a better course in the area.
Grandover East
This was a great golf experience and hope to play it again.
Almost perfect
Course was a few brown spots away from perfection. Fast greens but not punishing in their design. Layout was very entertaining. Off course amenities were top notch. Carts were stocked with goodie bags including towel, tees and ball mark tool.
Drove off West 18 and went straight in to book a round on the East course. I would call this course a must play for under $100.
Pricey but good!
This course is in great shape. The greens are fast! Staff is friendly. The course is a little pricey but still a great course!
Good Value for the Hot Deal Opportunity
We played this course a year ago in the fall. Everything was great, and we looked forward to returning asap to play the East Course. There was an outing on the East, so we played the West again. For early May in NC, with everything greening up, you expect most courses to be in near peak condition. One too many fairways burned out, and greens that rolled true but not very fast. The course felt just a tad "over par", but we'll be back to play the East course at some point, hopefully sooner than later. Staff exceptionally friendly and amenities top notch.
course not being maintained
The East course is a wonderful layout, challenging golf course which rewards shot accuracy. The greens are large, undulating and equally challenging. However, the course is not being well maintained. Bunkers were flooded from rainfall 48 hours earlier. Bermuda greens appeared to not having been mowed in the prior 36 hours. While I technically had a golf cart; the entire course was cart path only, so my threesome walked quite a bit, which should have been disclosed when booking. The facility/resort is beautiful, wonderful food at the cafe next to the pro shop. Would not return unless and until the course is better maintained. Also no senior tees.
First time playing grandover but not the last. Everything about the course was excellent, from the tee box thru the fairways to the greens. Very nice.
