Nice track
We enjoyed the course, especially since we were on our way back north. It was in good shape and a fun challenge to play.
Great time
Enjoyed the course very much, but they could have turned off the fans. ( Ha Ha ). Very windy that day but that did not stop us enjoying the course. Great greens and over seeded the fairways. The lady that checked us in was very nice, we were there at the tail end of a frost delay but were still able to tee off a little early, but the gentleman in the afternoon seem like he just wanted to do his job only and wasn’t too friendly. That will not stop us from going back.
Great Course
Thoroughly enjoyed the course. Good risk/reward on many holes. Played from the whites, but want to try the tips on the next trip. Staff was very friendly.
Surprisingly good
Course was in great shape. Fairways and green were in great condition and well maintained. Driving range was lacking slightly; however nothing that would deter me from coming back. Highly recommend this course to anyone visiting the area
Santee National
Close to I-95 for the traveler. Can't miss course if you have the opportunity to play it. Conditions right now were good since it the dormant time of the season, the fairways are overseeded with growing grass but the fairway lies are still tight. Greens rolled great at a quickish pace but super fast. Bunkers compact allowing easy outs. Course has a open look with wide fairways, I played the White tees and drove the ball well today practically in the middle of each fairway right at the 150 or inside it. They have a back tee for the long hitters and two more forward tees. Many doglegs so placement of your tee ball helps. Each hole is different. Par fives I don't have the juice to reach them in two but three out of four I was close the the green in 2 and was pitching for the third. Overall a nice experience I would not hesitate to play again if the chance arises.
Santee National
Came here from Canada cold and snow. So the course is in great shape greens and fairways, don’t stray away from the fairway. Book your own trip because you will do better combining Hotel and golf with tee off.com than using theirs.
Fun Place to Play
Very much recommend this golf course. With the exception of one tee box, this course is in excellent shape right now. The greens are lush, but were just a little slow for my liking. The layout is fantastic, my group loved this course the best of the 3 in Santee. You can't go wrong playing here. Such variety of holes on this course.
Great course but needs a ranger
Played the front nine is less than 1.5 hrs but hit a brick wall on the back, took close to 3 hrs to play. Course is in great shape, but slow play killed it for us
Good Course
It was an easy course to play. Enjoyed the time we had there.
Excellent
Our round was after their Eclipse event. Course was closed, but Tee time was available online. They were very accommodating and let us and another group out. Nice people, excellent Golf Course.
Course in excellent shape -- great value
The course was in great shape and you couldn't beat the price - $20. FW's were very lush and closely mowed. Greens were smooth and running relatively fast for the heat, i would judge a 9. The course is flat, but there are a lot of doglegs to break up the monotony. Green complexes were fairly easy, and flat but there were alot of subtle breaks. I played at 6900 yds. the net set of tees is around 6100 which is a big difference
Perfect day
Played here last year for the first time and decided to try it again. Weather was perfect and so was the course. Greens rolled nicely. The rest of the course was in great shape also, some traps were hard pack as are most courses anymore. Pace of play was under 4 hours. I understand August is usually slow in SC, but the weather was perfect, low humidity and not much wind.
Will definitely play it again when I'm in the area.
Loved it
Place was very nice to play. Challenging back tees that made the course difficult for advanced players. Course was in great shape and the greens were rolling true.
Would enjoy playing there again
