Great Conditions Especially for February

I enjoyed my round at Wild Dunes Links course. The conditions were fantastic. The fairways and greens rolled true and fast. The weather was great, 65 degrees in February! We played in 3 hours 45 minutes despite cart path only due to rain the previous day. I highly recommend playing here.

Fantastic Round

Great round of golf and even had a gator sighting! Greens were fairly quick and the fairways were in very good shape for January. Beautiful course. There’s no turn so make sure you’ve got everything you need at the start of the round! Really enjoyed the round, though.

Unforgettable Experience

I had an early tee time on a golf now deal. Keep in mind this deal was still very pricey. Staff helped with pairing me with another for the first group so we could go without anyone in front of us and we finished in under 3.5 hours.

We walked the course and couldn’t recommend this enough. Every inch of this course is well maintained and fun. I played in January after all.

Greens are fast but fair and large greens make putting very important. Many memorable holes including the last 3. I find it pretty funny that everyone is saying not enough holes on the beach. Also saying hate finishing on a par 3. I recommend a Google search of hurricanes and erosion. Looks like the 18th is close to being built back to par 5. That will be a cherry on top once they get this done.

The pro shop guy probably in his 30’s has the personality of a sand crab but other than that this course is a must visit if you are in the area.

Great all around golf experience

A beautifully maintained course. Yes the price tag is large. And maybe for that much you would expect the ocean to be in play on more than two holes. However this is truly a sensational golf course. A good variety of holes, conditions are awesome year round. Truly one of the most enjoyable rounds of golf I think you can find anywhere.

Wonderful golf experience

The Wild Dunes Harbor Course is one fine golf course. Beautiful groomed, superb conditions. Sufficiently challenging but fair for a 90’s golfer. Greens we’re running fast since it had a tournament the day before. Holes along inter-coastal waterway are a joy to behold.

Challenging in multiple ways

As the red-headed step-child to the resort’s Links Course, the Harbor Course is still a good challenge. It’s a very tight course with water/OB on nearly every hole. The greens are very, very small. And the winds can be brutal really affecting the ability to keep the ball in play. The course was in great shape and my playing partner made a hole-in-one on #13! That’s not something that happens every day.

The price is average for its quality and relative to nearby courses. But the most confounding part is the course layout and routing. To call it unique is an understatement. The course is squeezed between homes, The distance between 4 & 5 is at least a half a mile thru neighborhoods and across multiple streets. And the turn at 9 is no turn at all but at least two miles from the clubhouse.

Yet when you get past the crazy routing the Harbor Course is a good course worth playing with some memorable holes. The staff is friendly and they work to provide a good experience.

My husband and I come to Isle of Palms every December for a month. We love playing the Harbor course. It is a beautiful course and a "Thumbs Up" to the maintenance crew.

Tightest course great views!

The course was kept in amazing shape for December, the greens where a lil shaggy but to be expected, I really loved the challenge of the fairways being so small, but the only negative thing I could say is those greens were smaller then a putt putt course, but again it’s own challenge there but had a amazing time, and the cart girl was the sweetest

Pretty Muc as Good as it Gets

It was my first time playing this course, and other than it being cartpath only it was a great experience. Pace of play was great. The course was in excellent condition and the layout was great.

It was really quite good value for the money given how good the course is. I’d highly recommend that anyone visiting Charleston make the time to play this gem.

Truly Amazing

1st.I had my own issue getting to the right course but after a very friendly conversation, they were very accommodating.

Once I got to pro shop , I was in my cart (Alone) and was on the first tee.

The course was in great shape for the end of the season.

The layout is very playable. It was the links course but not a lot of undulations.,just enough.

The Greens were in pristine condition. Putting was a lot of fun.

Also one of the most picturesque places I’ve ever seen.

The last 3 holes were my favorite.

From start to finish I’d give it 5*****

Enjoyed the Challenge

We played Harbor on a November Saturday with an early afternoon tee time. It was a challenging course with wind and water. With a 5:15 sunset looming, we were not able to get a full 18 holes in before dark. It was low tide so only a couple of cart paths were flooded forcing an inconvenience but nothing too troubling. The course staff was accommodating and gracious throughout the day. A narrow fairway layout with TINY greens created a challenge along with the steady winds coming off the ICW on almost every hole. Enjoyed the outing and we'll be back!

GREAT SHAPE

This course has some great views and is a pleasure to play. The course is in great shape; recently over-seeded, so the fairways are lush. The greens were in really good shape as well. Pace of play was very good.
