Harbor at Wild Dunes Golf Links
About
Wild Dunes Harbor Course, designed by Tom Fazio, is said to be cut from some of the prettiest real estate in South Carolina. Water makes up a great deal of the Harbor Course layout. After all, half the course runs along the world’s longest water hazard, The Intracoastal Waterway. Fazio claims the Harbor Course to be one of his favorites. "Working on the Harbor Course was very satisfying to me as a designer because we had to create everything. It was a very challenging, and ultimately, a very satisfying project."

A very eye-catching and beautiful layout. The course was very tight and we got advice to be careful of the runoffs around the greens and along the fairways which turned out to be very true. The face of play was really good, and the horse is in excellent shape. I would recommend it to anyone coming to the Isle of Palms area.
Don't miss the fairway
The architect has done a great job with the redesign of this course but it's still very challenging as the fairways are super narrow. And very often, if you miss the fairway, it's a lost ball. The course is within the Wild Dunes community and has houses or water on each side of the fairways on pretty much every hole.
Wild Dunes Harbor Course Post Renovations
We played Wild Dunes yesterday after their course renovations of $8M. We were NOT disappointed. The course was absolutely impressive with perfect fast greens and fairways that were absolutely pristine. A narrow and challenging course with holes surrounded my marsh and the Intracoastal was an absolute pleasure to experience. We were warned that it could be quite challenging based on the winds in the area but were pleasantly surprised by 78 degree weather and only a slight breeze. Brand new cart paths along the entirety of the course made it pleasant during to it being cart path only on the day we played. With the rough areas just being sprayed the evening before our game, we understood and because the fairways being narrow was not an issue at all with the pace of play. Staff was helpful and we found them to be present throughout our day but never felt like we were being rushed by an ambassador. The pace of play was steady and comfortable. We have played Grand Dunes in the past and would rate this course above grand Dunes for its challenges and the quality of the greens and fairways. A must play bucket list course for sure.
Beautiful course - a bit pricey
Absolutely wonderful course with spectacular conditions and layout. Only issue, if there is any is the price is a bit high... but you certainly do get what you pay for.
Decent Course
The course has some challenging holes and was a nice layout. A little overpriced in comparison to others I have played here.
Fantastic!!
What a great course! It’s narrower than the Links course but that made me focus and hit good shots. The back 9 goes along the intercoastal waterway and the views were amazing. I would play this again.
Outstanding
Course was in fantastic condition. All facets. Greens were some of my favorites.
Good changes coming
Getting ready to rebuilt the course so some construction on some holes but love the layout and look forward to playing in the fall
Foggy Start
Considering we couldn’t see the first three holes because of thick fog, it was a nice round. After the fog lifted, it turned its beautiful day. The course was in decent shape after the downpour the day before. The pace of play was excellent, even with the fog we finished our round in less than four hours.
Extremely tight course
Fairways were good. Greens were not great. Needed mowed. Having some water ingress issues. Land iit on the fairway or likely lose the ball.
Charleston Golf
Really no place to park. Finally found a spot on the far side of some tennis courts in the dirt. Kind of frustrating!
No place to hangout after playing was a bit off putting.
Staff were very pleasant and helpful.
Course was great, challenging and a little rough due to recent overseeing but I understand that has to be done.
