Links at Wild Dunes Golf Links

The course is very nice and the greens are fair. Paid $32 for a drink on the course. That is unacceptable by any standard.

Not a links course. You won’t see the ocean til hole 17. Go to the ocean course and pay $709 and shoot a 120 if you’d like. For the price still a great course. Perfectly maintained. Greens were punched a week and a half ago and you could barely notice..

Also back to the links thing, I’m almost positive there was no fescue at all on the entirety of the course. Not pot bunkers. Very many trees. Just not a links course at all. Very forgiving course. Wide fairways, big greens. Good experience all around.

$12 a surfside was pure theft but I still bought 6 🤷‍♂️

Play here. Only comparable course in the area not on Kiawah is Stono Ferry. Id rate dunes maybe slightly higher but not by much at all.

Book the time, you won’t regret it.

Fairways were amazing. Off the fairways and around the greens needs a lot of work. Tons of patches and repair areas. Greens have some weird fungus or growths in areas. Some tee boxes were total junk. The range is awful. Random floater balls, no drivers or woods allowed. Hitting off mats. Clubhouse is nothing special. The course is fine, the last 2 holes are amazing but the first 16 is pretty mediocre. Probably not worth $200. Friendly staff.

Loved the course layout. Fairways and greens were in great shape. Tee boxes need a good bit of work.

Great experience. Only negative was trying to get off the island during rush hour. Other than that, highly recommend.

Like every other good golf course…the cost of playing is getting to be too expensive and unaffordable. When will the price increases stop!!!

Arrived early hit a few @driving range. Starter came around 10 min later & said let’s pair you up with a member as a twosome! Ok! Member was a young man & played like Pro. I played like old man, but kept up! The course was in excellent condition, the views were tremendous. All holes were accessible & made you think. Well worth the value!

The last 3 holes are especially stunning with the ocean right there. The only ding is really the price... but I think it's fair given the quality of the overall experience. Absolutely had a wonderful time.

Wide fairways and quick greens made this course fun. The two best holes were 17 and 18 by the ocean. I’m glad I played it but wouldn’t play it again. Too many other courses to play

The links course was in excellent condition and a pleasure to experience. We’re already planning to return and hope to play both courses.
