February Golf
Coarse was in awesome shape for winter. Had a great time playing and will play again as soon as we get a warm day.
Outstanding
Couldn't ask for a better round on Thanksgiving Day!
Wow!
Course was incredibly nice for winter.
Great staff.
Good food.
The Palmer Course
The Palmer course remains one of my favorites in the tri-state area. The course has a unique layout with five par 5’s and 5 par 3’s. It is a challenging but fun course to play.
It is a bargain if you can find a discount but a little pricey if you pay the regular rate.
Anniversary round
Went to Oglebay to celebrate our 16th anniversary.
The staff was very friendly. The single, Marsh, we invited up to play along was a pleasure.
The lies on the Jones course were a real challenge. the only hole I didn't care for was #5. Hit my drive to the very top of the fairway only to have role the whole way down to the other side and into the rough. the slope from left to right is extreme. Makes the fairway obsolete.
will play the course again, though.
Looking forward to playing the Palmer next.
Crispin
Always an enjoyable time playing at Crispin. While you rarely have a level lie it’s a very playable course for the average golfer. My only complaint this time around was the slow play. Played first 7 holes in a little over an hour and then took over 3 hours to play the remaining due to all the groups ahead of us.
Hilly short course
We had to play the back nine twice because the front nine was having the cart paths redone. Fun course but very hilly and shorter than we are used to playing.
Ogelbay - Palmer
Great course. Great condition. Challenging fair layout. Would 100% recommend
