beautiful golf heaven.
it was a great place beautiful and peaceful, had fun and enjoyed my time.
Stonehaven looks good
They got the fairways looking nice and greens are fast fast! Loved it
Unique and unforgettable Must experience
I love this course. The scenery is beautiful, the fairways are very well maintained and clean. the greens are fantastic, rolling fast and true. This course is the perfect example of what a golf course in West Virginia should be. It always feels like you’re on an expedition, navigating the topography and the hollows. The staff is beyond accommodating, very friendly and helpful. Parking lot is a little hard to find, but the biggest downside. is NO concession stand or beverage cart service. I will still recommend this course because it is an unforgettable experience and memory of our mountain state
Picturesque, fun, challenging and fair
Great layout. Minimal water. Elevation changes throughout. Audience (deer) abounds. Risk rewards await you.
Straight or else
Lived up to reputation. If you want to challenge yourself, this is the course for you. Layout through the hills of WV. Ravines, heavy brush, fast sloping greens. Gotta hit mid fairway else risk watching your ball rest at bottom of hill.green approach best for high shots with backswing; strong forward rolls a penalize. Views are tremendous.
It’s dead
The greens have came back nicely all but two of them. They were well cared for.
The tee boxes are bald and almost impossible to keep balance. Almost like a fairway bunker.
Speaking of fairway. There is grass on a few holes. I feel I got robbed of my money and a 1.5 hour one way drive
Would not recommend
The fairways, some teeboxes and greens were heavily damaged by weather or some other reason.
Meh
Well, we played this course for the first time yesterday. I wasn't impressed. The course is not in good shape but that's understandable considering the sparse rain for months, but what struck me the most is that they should have never built a golf course on this land. It's like the developer just said, "We need another golf course" and told the designer "This is the land it goes on, just do the best you can." It is totally inappropriate for a good track. I don't mind lots of elevation changes (My home course is Fountain Springs) but there are way too many blind shots and shots that require way more skill than the average golfer. I scored reasonably well for a septuagenarian (84) but I can't recommend this course for a golfer with limited skills. Kudos to the staff and facility, though. It's no reflection on them.
Woodhaven is a hidden gem!
The staff are really getting the course back in shape. Gorgeous golf course
This course is awesome, other than keeping the sprinklers on for too long and the fairways being a little wet, it was phenomenal

Genuinely my favorite course I have ever played, the layout is beautiful and each hole is so unique and has its own character. Highly highly recommend this course.
