When I chip close to green my left shoulder comes up and it makes me come out of the shot. How can I prevent this?

Thank you for these tips which are in line with previous lessons I have had. Even though I try to use this advice, I often hit these chips thin (ball before turf-ball shoots across the green) or fat (turf before ball-ball goes nowhere). Can you suggest a way to avoid these frustrating mistakes? Thanks!
All good points and I like the instruction but I would suggest you don't talk about the smooth shot - moving the sternman in time with hand can smooth out the swing and help ensure you have the same motion thourgh all the shots.
Why do you show the captions right where the ball is, can’t see the ball strike at all. I don’t see how to get rid of the captions to turn it off.
I wish the camera had not moved behind the shot. You had a quick wrist motion on both shots that seem crucial to your execution.
