Do same principles apply regarding backstroke and follow-through apply on really long lag putts say 30-40 feet? Sometimes I feel like I get off line with such long backswings on long putt? Thank you

I am looking for a more upright putter with the shaft a bit closer to the center mass of the putter head. What is the make/model of the putter you are using in this video?
when putting I normally gain strokes with my last thought before starting being "hit it just a little harder than I think I need". When under pressure to make the putt I find my backstroke shortening. I see it happening almost in slow motion but can't stop to correct it . Why?
What is the downside of a pop putt similar to Snedekers style of putting?
