It’s always disappointing to see your ball has plugged in the face of a bunker. But with the help of Martin Chuck, you can escape a fried egg lie easily. Put the club in the sand and leave it in the sand to execute the shot better.

Great drill. Smooth pop out
Thanks Anibal!
What if it is in the bottom of the bunker in the flat area (deep fluffy sand) or on a downslope and not on an upslope like you are showing with a lot more bunker to carry to get it out of the bunker?
And I agree, the sound is very low I had to turn the audio up on my computer to hear it better.
Hello Greg, it’s pretty unusual for a ball to plug in a back wall of a trap. I wouldn’t waste time practicing a shot you won’t encounter. As for flat lies, same fundamentals apply. Weight forward, square or shut face, landing behind the ball steeply. The ball will pop out.
thanks excellent tip simple your sound is too low can bearly hear you this is pretty common with golf pass tips
Hi Gerald, thanks for the kind words. The audio seems fine on my computer? Not sure why it isn't loud enough on your end. Have a great day. - Martin
I cannot get the video to play. I do get the audio.
