I don’t know if Cindy answers emails, but she’s hitting a Callaway Mavrik hybrid which I have in a 4 hybrid (R) which is my favorite club and would love to hear what she has to say about it.

Joe S. I will answer whatever you send; as long as I see it. Yes, I am using a Mavrik hybrid. I have a bunch of them and love them. I think this was the 4 or 5.

Cindy, thanks for replying. I was mainly interested in whether hybrids or fairway woods were your go to clubs. I’m a 9.2 player and have always had trouble with woods. Misses have greater dispersion and the big uglies are slices. That is not the case with irons and hybrids and the Maverick is the best of the long clubs. Been playing for a long time (am 73) and can never seem to consistently call on a draw. So the question becomes what is it you like about the club that might have application to me. Lastly, count me in as another fan of your commentary

Joe S. I have had to learn how to hit fairways woods since I don't hit the ball far. I carry a strong 3 wood (13 degrees) and a 7 wood. Then 3, 4 ,5, 6 hybrids. Cindy I will certainly try this next time I have such a lie (i.e. tomorrow!) I am interested to know what the loft on your hybrid was and how long was the carry on those shots?
