Martin Chuck demonstrates a drill that will help you control trajectory with your irons. With better clubface control at impact, you will start hitting perfectly flighted iron shots and your distance control will improve drastically.

Martin, Why not just use an 8 iron instead of de-lofting a 56 degree?
Very interesting Martin, I had often wondered how the pros keep the ball so low despite so much loft. I would like to ask you when this technique should be applied, in contrast to „simply“ delofting the club in setup?
Hi Martin i know this question has nothing to do with this video but i have trouble staying on my feet when i'm hitting the ball is there a drill for this.
Thanks John A.
Do we need to close the club face at all? This is a shot that I'm usually afraid to hit around the green because I'm afraid I'm going to chunk it. Thanks.
I used this approach around the green quite a bit. I also incorporate some of Jordan Spieth's approach to chipping. Great drill!!
