Turning your shoulders more will help you hit it farther, right? Not so fast! Martin Hall explains why he doesn’t like this thought and demonstrates why your chest is the key to hitting longer drives. Plus, he shows a drill from Jack Nicklaus that will help you implement this into your swing.

Hi Martin, love school of golf! When I make a bigger turn, it does give me more consistent drives with better distance. However it does seem to make my iron play inconsistent with more tops and fat shots. Any suggestions? Im 63 with an 8 index.
thanks
Rick
Martin, does this apply for all you shots?
This tip has helped to drive the ball further but now I have a tendency to pull the ball or hit it left. Why?
All instructors are great, but Clay Ballard is the BEST. Common sense, explains well, one or two key points, and encouraging.
