Cindy Miller’s yardstick drill helps you square the putterface at address and return it square through the ball, so your 3 footers start on line more consistently.

Can that same yardstick be used as a gauge for distance practice? How far of a backstroke to putt the ball 5’, 8’ etc. I assume these drills all must be done on a flat fairly straight putt.
Why does it matter whether the yardstick is metal or wood?
Great tip; thanks Cindy! Heading to local hardware store asap. $8 for 36" aluminum straight edge ruler.
Where should your elbows be pointing at address of the putter?
In your grip is your right hand grip firmer than the leading hand?
