First time, Great course
First time playing and we loved it. Al W at the cart barn is the best!
Alright, but other courses are better condition
The course is nice enough, I just know there are other BV courses that are in better shape.
The good:
Staff was awesome, the amenities are great, the course wasn’t awful, pace of play was great.
The not great:
The greens were ok, a bit hard for this early in the season. The fairways could use some rehab, lots of bare spots. Maybe even stop letting folks use the 90 degree rule.
Cart paths need work.
People complain about the tee boxes, I thought they were in great shape and saw them renovating at least one tee box.
Could really do without the highway and the smell of the water treatment plant so close…
I’d tell someone it’s worth playing there, just other golf courses in BV are nicer.
Great golf course
The only issue was having a single golfer jump in ahead of the group in front of us which caused play yo come to almost complete stop, play was going on about a 4 hour round until then, it ended up adas a 4 1/2 hour round
Surprised
Top notch. The. Course and clubhouse (restaurant) Reminded me of the old original Shangri La in NE Okla.

Great staff, great course, will challenge you to use every club in your bag. Highly recommend!
Slow and Soggy
Not their fault, but pouring rain for an hour (third day in row getting soaked). Also not their fault, but cart path only made it very slow, 50 minutes for first 3 holes. So the course is beautiful and in good condition but hard to appreciate in these conditions.
great course
this is a really nice course, well thought out plan. i only wish they would enforce pace of play better and its a shame some people don’t fix their divots or ball marks.
Wonderful Experience
This is above everything I expected. I was anticipating a good course, but the fairways, greens and even the rough were in excellent shape.....can't wait to play it again!
Nice course open to public
Very nice course and layout. Bent grass greens in very good shape. Can bring your own beer! Beautiful bar/restaurant. Can’t take drinks from there on to course, but can buy canned beer. No drink cart. All in all, a very enjoyable Aday and round.
Greens are rough
I love this course. But this time around the greens still have aeration marks that affect putts and are incredibly slow. The rest of the course was rough as well. Even in the fairway had to move the ball on some holes to get a decent lie. Very disappointed and hope the course comes back soon.
You need to pay attention to the aeration schedule and ask. Don't blame golf courses for taking care of their investments. If they don't keep up the golf course to GCSAA standards (at a minimum), people like you will complain about THOSE conditions as well!
Some really good holes
Good layout. A few really good holes. Conditions pretty good for this time of year.
