9 holes made for walking
If you enjoy walking a course and want to get 9 holes in this is the course for you. Typical public golf course challenges
19th hole is top notch
This facility is ideal for many folks with a variety of lifestyles. A challenging 9 hole couse featuring many degrees of difficulty throughout. Got paired up with a father/son party along with my son inlaw. Nice people which is all I have ever met here. Texted my wife to let her know I was paying a visit to the 19th hole....her response was I thought it was a nine hole course! I was able to help her understand quickly. Very local for me about 10 minutes away. Quite reasonable in pricing. Will remain a favorite of mine for years to come.
Just ok
Second time playing here. Course itself is well maintained and interesting for a 9 hole but I bought a large bucket of balls for the range 40min ahead of my tee time only to find out the range was being mowed so I couldn’t use it. I did get the money back for the balls but wanted to warm up! And it wasn’t first thing in AM. Then by the 2nd hole the pace of play slowed and by hole 5 I basically gave up. 2 hours and I only got through 7 holes! Disappointing
Especially good for walking 9 holes
If you like to walk 9 holes this is your course. It does have the typical challenges such as length, tee shots, bunkers and water. There is a restaurant in the clubhouse along with a bar.
Ladies Day Out
I’ve golfed this course in the past and have to say the conditions today show the efforts put into improvements. The fairways and greens were in the best conditions ever. The staff was friendly and courteous. I would recommend those course if you’re looking for a pleasant nit too challenging day out.
4/17/26 Worcester GC canceled my tee time w no refund
Me and some buddies were supposed to play here yesterday at 4:00pm. At 3:06pm they called (while we were on our way) and said they had to cancel our tee time for a league. They allowed us to reserve online, drive halfway there, then canceled us and didn’t refund my reservation payment.
Honestly, Worcester has decent pizza and chill standards for attire and vibes you bring to the course. Which is perfect for after work. But it’s more of a municipal par 3 course than a real golf course. And the management of it is clearly lacking. I will be taking my business to other courses.
Perfect Day
While playing at Worcester with my Grandson he scored an Ace on the sixth hole. Perfect!
Sunday outing
Course was in good shape for being early in the season. The guy checking us in was very nice b
Nice driving course
This course is pretty flat and has nice par 4 and par 5 holes. It has an interesting hole that requires you drive 130 across a pond to reach the green.
Hot deal haters
Did not honor hot deal as I was 20 min late. This is their right. In past experience, as I usually book around 2 hot deals per week, the course will simply move to an open slot if one exists. This was the first time I had ever been flatly denied, but as I said this is their right. The course was empty except for a lone foursome. The shop woman, gleeful at this result, informed I could pay another $20 to walk or more to ride if I wanted. It was the only improvement in her demeanor I witnessed. I had tried to compliment the look of the pro shop when I entered and she curtly said it’s always been this way. I reminded her that we used to pay at the bar and she said - that was the former owners - in a reluctant admission (I was a member back then so I needed no affirmation). After consideration, I decided to walk 9 for an additional 20. What really forced me to write this review however, was that it appears she claimed the hot deal as redeemed AND charged me the additional money. Since GolfNow is also a payment system this struck me as fraudulent. Clearly I’ll never return to the course but this behavior needs to be spotlighted. I am available to GolfNow for any needed receipts.
Nice flat walkable nine-holer close to many places, but still in the virtual middle of nowhere
Very friendly staff and nice bar and food area.
It was a very relaxed and uncrowded place to play on a Friday morning in early Fall.
Since nine-hole courses seem to get played by higher ratio of beginners and/or people less physically able to play eighteen, play wa a bit on the slow side, but non awful.
this course ca be a challenging place to chip and putt because all the greens are domed and have false fronts.
I played 9 holes at Worcester Golf Club today with friends, and unfortunately it was a pretty disappointing round. The greens were sandy, wet, and bumpy, which made putting almost impossible. Tee boxes were being aerated while we played, so we had to start on a different hole, and many of the boxes were in rough shape. The fairways were hard and not very forgiving, which didn’t help either.
The biggest frustration was when we looped back to finish on the 1st hole—sprinklers kicked on while one of us was standing on the freshly aerated tee box. That summed up the whole experience: poor timing and course conditions that felt like maintenance was prioritized over players.
The staff were polite, and the layout of the course itself could be enjoyable under better conditions, but the lack of coordination and playability today made for a rough round. Hopefully they can improve the upkeep and scheduling, because right now it’s not worth the green fee.
Nice 9 hold golf course, was perfect for a midday lunch break took me about an hour and a half. Will be coming back when I can. They have a nice bar and restaurant. This course is open year round as well !
