Dauphin Highlands Golf Course

Obviously the course has been sold so the maintenance has been minimal. The traps were mud holes, tee boxes and greens were terrible.

It's terrible that such a nice course will be going away!

Wide open course with a great view, but challenging holes (long, winding, over trouble/hazard, ...)

Course in superb shape and our group played in 3 1/2 hours.

The course was challenging, but fun. Given the fact that it will be closed in the fall is disappointing. Would have loved to come back and play again. The county or who ever owns the course should reconsider what a gem they have here. Demolishing is a great sin. The corporations are destroying an ecosystem. I saw foxes, ground hogs, deer, and lots of water fowl. Where are they going to go? Into the cities or die off. I don't know how Pennsylvania can do this. Just my 2 cents.

We have been playing that golf course for years. We’ve always loved the layout and the condition of the course. We were fully aware of the financial status of the course being sold, but was hoping we got a few good rounds more out of it this summer before they closed. It’s a shame how bad they let that course go.

Pace of play is awful every single time. Just finished a round that was almost 6 hours! 3 groups on every hole. Tee time scheduling is the worst Ive ever seen. Do not play here unless your willing to wait 20 minutes before each hole.

Rain threatened the entire morning but never came so less folks out. Course is in very good shape and always a pleasure to play. Staff was attentive and friendly. Looking forward to next round!

Will miss this course sad to see it go always enjoy playing here one of the nicest well maintained public courses in our area

That's the high notes!

The bad, from the minute we got there, the starter had an attitude about where I put my bag. Our tee time was 20 minutes away so I opted for the last cart in the line vs the first one. Made sense to me. The starter basically scolded me for putting it on the rear cart. He then proceeded to ask our time and said, you're next up. I told my son to finish up putting and head up. Mind you we were still 15 minutes out. This man has the audacity to say, if you're not ready, I'll send the group behind you.

I advised him we were ready and to chill out. As we get to the tee, the group behind us shows up. Our time was 11:10, it was 11:08.

That part is the ONLY place where the staff focused on pace of play. No marshalls, waiting every shot for minutes at a time for all 18 holes.

DH is a nice course, not $80+ nice, but nice. The course is overpriced and over booked with terrible staff.

Just close it down and sell it already.
